Chapter 19
*Aislyn Speaking Now*
Liam charged through the front door and ran to his room. I would've gone up and comforted him but Friends had just started.
I watched for a while and then Dad ran in with the home phone to his ear.
'Grandma Maura says we have to turn on the news now. Channel 101!' He said.
'But Rachel's about to have Emma!' I whined. Dad gave me a look and I switched over the channel.
'Breaking News: The father of the Irish member of One Direction, Niall Horan, was sent to prison 12 and a half years ago. He is not even half way through his 30 year sentence. To receive this sentence Bobby Horan murdered the eldest member of the new girl band, Red Stamp, called Johanna Rogers in 2015. He also raped and harassed Niall's current wife, Juliet Calder, between 2012 and 2013. Juliet has recently woke up from a 12 year coma first started by her attempt to kill herself. We have just heard from Pentonville Prison, Bobby's prison, that Bobby has escaped. It's told that he is going to find someone but nobody knows who. More on this story as it develops.'
'Oh my God.' Dad whispered. I switched off the TV. He hung up the phone and his arm dropped down to his side.
'I have a grandfather.' Was all I could say. Liam walked in and crashed on to the sofa.
'What's wrong. Who died?' Liam asked.
'Nobody's died yet. But someone's gonna.' Dad said.
'What's happened?' Liam asked.
'Our murderer and rapist granddad Bobby Horan escaped from prison.' I said.
'Oh God.' Liam said. Mum walked in.
'What's up? Why are you all so shocked?' She asked.
'Our ra-' Liam started. I slapped my hand over his mouth. 'Ow!" He said behind my hand.
'Oh I'm sorry Liam! I just wanted to say it myself!' I moved my hand from his mouth. 'Our best rainy day game is scrabble, want to play?'
'But it's not raining.' She said.
'Good point. Just wanted to let you know.' I said and we all smiled. Mum went back upstairs.
'Why can't we tell Mum?' Liam asked.
'It will kill her to know that someone who made her life miserable for a year and a half is back in her life.' Dad said. I nodded.
'Okay.' Liam turned on the TV and I left. I went to tell Gemini. I knocked on her door. She opened it.
'Hey Ash.' She said.
'Hi. Can I come in?' I asked.
'Sure.' She said. She walked in. I followed her.
'I have some news.' She nodded. 'Our granddad, your half dad has escaped from prison.'
'Yes!' She said happily. I looked at her weirdly. 'I mean, yes?'
'Okay, I'm going to leave you to take that in.' I left her and went back downstairs to join Dad and Liam.
'Did she take it okay?' Dad asked.
'Very well.' I said.
'Breaking News: It has been revealed who Bobby Horan is looking for. He is looking for Juliet Calder his son's wife. Juliet if you're out there, hide. I repeat, hide.'
'He's back.' I heard a voice say. I turned around to see Mum fainted on the floor.
