Wonder

Harrys POV:

You know that feeling you get when your going up a big hill on a rollarcoaster? Thats how I felt. We had no idea where Sarah was, who she was with, or what to expect when we got there.

She could be dead for all we know. Her weakness was discovered. If they knew that if she had no oxygen she was no longer immortal, they could kill her in minutes.

Although we were moving at out super speed, it still felt like it was taken forever. Suddenly the path that was once pink started to waver. It turned into green.

"Liam! What's happened?" Called out Niall, as we all stopped.

"Shes moved locations!" Groaned Liam. We sighed. "Might as well follow it. Maybe we can find someone at the end who knows where she is." He suggested.

The group looked to me for approval. I sighed, and slowly nodded. At the moment it was our best hope for finding Sarah.

The path led right into an old building. We started to enter, but suddenly an invisable force threw us back. "This building is protected! Only people living here can get in. We need to find someone who lives her to get us in!" Called Liam.

I pulled myself off the ground, and scanned the area. Fortunately we were in a mutant town so we could use our powers. I fully transformed.

"WHO LIVES IN THAT BUILDING!" I bellowed, charging up and down the street. The people had obviously heard about me. They were quaking with fear. Good.

"M-me." Stuttered a vampire, stepping from the crowd. I changed back to my human form, grabbed his arm, and pulled him towards our group.

With him we were able to enter. We muttered a thanks as he scampered off. Wimp. "Lets follow this trail!" I ordered, charging up the stairs.

Then they stopped in front of a door. The door was askew and hanging by one hinge. Someone had obviously broken in. There just better be someone alive inside to help!

I banged the door open not bothering to knock. I heard sobbing, and we headed towards the sound. Never in a million years would I have guessed to find Xavier on the floor bawling his eyes out.

I wasnt going to be sympathetic. I grabbed him by the collar and swung him into the air. "Where is Sarah!" I bellowed into his face.

"L-Lyle has her." He sobbed. I dropped him to the floor. This meant war.

Sarahs POV:

The last thing I remember was Lyles fist colliding with my head. How could Xavier portray me like that? Was he truely that heartless?

I woke slowly, my head pounding. I groaned and rubbed it, feeling a dent in my skull. Well that sucks. Slowly I opened my eyes.

I was in a dark room. It had nothing in it, not even a bed. I was laying on a stone floor. I could feel the cold seeping through my thin clothes.

There was a dim lamp hanging from the celing. No window, just a large metal door. I was utterly trapped. No escape I could see.

Why didnt I just stay with Harry?
