Anabelle's P.O.V


" Harry , get in the closet " I hiss.

Harry quickly gets up and runs towards my closet. Fuck , I cant get in trouble. My mom never approved of Nick , so if I tell her anything about boys she freaks . She will kill me if she finds out a boy was in the house. I get up and unlock the door.

My mom walks in and sits on my bed " Hey sweetie. What happened to your face ? "

" I'll tell you only if you promise not to laugh " I say. I now whats going to be my lie. I've been lying to my parents about the bruises for a month now so its not that hard anymore.

" What happened now ? "

" I was walking out of the shower and I didnt see my shoes , I tripped and hit my face on the wall "

" oh sweetheart , you need to be more careful "

I awkwardly nod " yeah "

Mom pats my knee " all right I'll call you when diner is ready "


After she left I locked my door and got back in bed , Im feeling dizzy.
I look over at Harry as he leaves my closet.

" Why did you lie to your mom ? " Harry walks over to my side of the bed and sits down.

I shrug " I dont want her to worry "

Harry sighs deeply , almost as if he was annoyed " Its not right , she should know "

"Lets watch ' Mama ' " I'm am totally changing the subject.

Harry raises an eybrow " I know what your doing "

I put the disc in the dvd player " Me too "

I watch as Harry kicks off his shoes and gets under the blancket with me. I've always wanted a best guy friend.

" Aaahhh " I yell and throw the blanket over my head so I cant see.

Harry was laughing , loudly " Your face was hilarious "

" Shes gonna get me ! Shes in the closet " I curl myself in a ball , under the blankets. My eyes were shut tight and I was humming Look After You by The Fray. Dont judge , its my favorite song , and it calms me.

" Hey its ok the scary part is over "

I slowly lay down next to Harry again. " I wasnt scared I was just kidding"

" Did you know that when you lie you pick at your nails ? "

I look over at Harry " How do you know that ? " The only person who knows that is Mary.

He shrugs " I'm very observant " He scoots closer so that our noses are almost touching. " And I noticed that you are very pretty "

I nervously laugh " haha your pretty too . I mean that your hot , no um you are uh attractive "

I am very bad at this . I kinda like Harry as more than a friend but I also want to keep being friends . He's hot , ok ?

I get up and pick up the movie ' FootLoose ' " Lets watch this yeah ? "
Im going to act like nothing happened. I dont want it to be awkward.

" Can you twerk ? " I ask Harry.

He grins at me " I can , Im a pro . I can twerk better than you "

" Oh yeah ? We'll see about that . Twerk battle "

Harry puts his hands on his knees and start twerking.

" Oh god you can ! " I was on the edge of my bed laughing so hard that I snorted. That only made me laugh harder.

Once I calmed down Harry said it was my turn. I tried but I fell on my face . Harry kept laughing. We ended up throwing popcorn at each others mouth but that turned into us eating M&M's . Then we watched Love Actually. Then Harry started telling me about his tattoos. Mom didnt call me for diner but me and Harry fell asleep on the floor surrounded in junk food
