Drama Bomb

~Lola's POV~

We all stood around for a good ten minutes until we heard te bell ring.

"Everyone meet here at break, okay?" I asked and they all nodded yes. We all split up to go to our advisory. We were on assembly schedule, which meant that every class was a little shorter than usual. The classes zoomed by surprisingly fast. I guess it was because my first four classes were my favorite. Then there was break. We all met up where we said we would meet, at the big tree by the office

"I really don't want to go to this assembly," Julia said.

"Neither do I. We should just ditch or something," Deby butted in.

"No no we can't just leave. Just sit in the back where no one an see you so you won't get picked for any if the activities," I said.

"Fine," Julia replied. She had those wrinkles in her forehead every time she got worried. The reason we don't like these assemblies is because if you do one little thing wrong, the whole school sees it and try never let it go. They always remind you and bother you about it. I've seen kids that happened to and we deffinately don't wan that to happen to us.

Then heard the bell ring and we headed off to fith period. This time it went even fasted because it was only fith and sixth period then lunch. And after lunch would be seventh period ten.... The assembly. Fifth and sixth period were language arts and science for me. I can't quite remember what it is for the other girls. After sixth period, we then again met up an then went to the lunch line. It was Monday so that meant that subways were for lunch today. My favorite. Right as we were heading up to the line, Lyla Vince showed up. Oh goodie. her little gang was with her too.

"Thanks for letting us cut in line, Lola!" Lyla said with a sarcastic tone.

"I'm not letting you hun. We were here first." I shot back. Then she came up really close to me and whispered in my ear,"You better let us in front of you or you'll regret it." Then she pushed me back and her little group got in front of us in line. Whatever, the days almost over. But what really pushed me over the edge was that Lyla took the last god damn subway. She knew I loved them. She did it just to piss me off. You know how I know that? Because after she got it, she walked over to the trash can and called, "Oh Lola!" And tossed it in the trash. Then she glared at me and walked away. I was about to go after her but that's when Julia stepped in front of me and told me to chill. The lunch bell rang and I went to seventh period pissed off. Seventh period was only about twenty minutes long then we headed up to the gym where the assembly was held. I then saw Audrey and Julia and sat up there with them while waiting for Deby.

It had been about ten minutes and Deby still wasn't up here yet and I was beginning to get worried. Oh no. Sometimes they pick people while they're walking up to the gym to participate in the events. That's probably what happened!

~Deby's POV~

Oh fuck! I've been picked for the first ever. The one I hated the most which was the Balloon Pop. It's this game where everyone had a balloon and you have to run across the court to squeeze the balloon inbetween the persimmon the other side of the court. I hated this game because a lot of fat sweaty kids that have p.e last period participate in this event.

Everyone was in the gym now and I could see Lola with a panicked look on her face lookin at me. I wish she had just listened to me and we would've just ditched! But it's too late now. There's teachers everywhere so there no possible way for me to run. Then one of the teachers that I don't even know began to quiet everyone down to start the event.

After explaining what the game was, the speaker said "Begin!" Sadly, with my bad luck, there was this huge sweaty fat kid in front of me which meant I had to pop the ballon in between with him. Fuck! There was no way for me to switch places with anyone now. In about a matter of seconds, it was already my turn and the person behind me was pushing me to go. I had a red ballon held against my chest as I ran across the court and trying not to let tears slip from my eyes. The big fat kid on the other side held his arms open ready for me to come. As I smashed into his stomach I could hear laughter roaring behind me. I really felt like death right now . This fucking red ballon would not pop so this kid ended up picking me up and squeezing me to pop the damn balloon. After it popped, Iran bak in line crying because I could hear everyone laughing as if they were going to pee their pants.

After the event was over, Lola, Julia and Audrey came outside to meet me.

"Are you okay?" They all were asking me.

"I really just want to go home." I replied. And at that, we hopped in the ca and drove home.
