**Louis POV** Monday
Aria broke through the crowd of people with the boy I had just beaten up. I let out a shout before turning back toward the parking lot and pushing through all the people. Maybe I didn’t have the best reason for beating up the kid, but I needed to let off some steam and I didn’t think Aria was going to be running in to rescue him. What was she even thinking?
I jumped into the driver seat of my truck and got ready to pull away. There was no way I was going to go to school after that. Before I pulled away the passenger door opened and Harry climbed in.
“Go away, Harry” I spat.
“I know you’re not one to share your feelings, but what the hell was that?” He asked
“What?”
“Well first that kid barely bumped into you and you started beating the shit out of him and then with Aria” Harry said
“Okay I’m having family problem so I took it out on the kid, but that bitch got in the way and I wasn’t about to hit a girl,” I explained.
“Lou, if-“
I cut him off “I just want to be alone”
He just nodded and slid out of my truck. I sped out of the parking lot. What’s wrong with me? My family hates me, Aria hates me, most of the people in my school are afraid of me. I drove up the road heading to where I always went when I wanted to be alone, the place I took Aria. I made the usually 30 minute drive in 10.
I climbed out of my truck and through the small field to the bench at the end of it. It was at the top of a giant hill that looked out over the town. My grandfather used to take me here when I was little before he past and he called it our ‘secret stop’ because we found it together and I made him promise not to show it to anyone else.
I felt the tear in my eyes and I would usually hold them in, but it’s been to long since I’ve just let it out.

**Aria’s POV**
I turned in my paper and sat back down at my desk next to Leah. It was five minutes till the release bell rang. The day went by pretty fast and surprisingly I didn’t see Louis again. Maybe he finally realized I don’t like him and he should leave me alone. I’d be a lie if I said I didn’t find him attractive, but he’s a heartless asshole.
“Do you want to hang out after school?” Leah asked breaking me from thought.
“Um yeah, sure. Can Jane?”
“Yeah, I already asked her last block.” She said as the bell rang.
I stepped out of the classroom and my eyes landed on the Jake boy. “I’ll- um meet you at your car.” I stammered before walking toward him.
‘Jake, how are you feeling?” I asked referring to the bruises that have darkened now.
“Nothing’s broken so pretty good.” He smiled.
“Good well I should go,” I said and started to turn
“Wait um,” He said nervously “I should be asking this but is there anything real between you and Louis?”
“No” I laughed
“Then, I think we should hang out sometime” He said smiling as always.
In my school I was kind of known as hard to get. As in I have only dated one guy ever and have pushed away every other guy. “Well I think we should too.”
“Well I’ll talk to you soon then” He beamed.
After saying a quick goodbye I made my way to Leah’s car in the parking lot. Jane was sitting in the passenger seat already and Leah in the driver’s seat. “So you and Jake.” Jane winked.
“Shut up” I laughed then told them what had happened in the hallway.
“This isn’t just about Louis is it?” Leah asked as we pulled into her driveway.
“Huh?” I questioned.
“Like if you never met Louis and none of that happened would you still give this guy a chance?” Leah explained
So if he was just some guy I met in class or something would I still give him a chance? I think so, I mean I don’t know.
