Sunday
“Stop sleeping your life away” My mom said as she flicked on the light to my room.
The one day of the week that I see her, she spends it criticizing me. “Mom it is Sunday at,” I glanced at my phone “8 in the morning!”
“Someone’s here to see.” She hissed
“Then just tell them to come up” I barked and she left my room. I didn’t bother getting out of, but because it was just Leah or Jane. Probably Jane cause there’s no way Leah would be up this early.
“Thank you Mrs. Worth” A deep voice said for the hall.
Seconds later Louis popped into my room closing the door behind him. “Louis, what the hell? Get out!” I tightly rapped the blanket around me. I know it’s kind of weird to not sleep with any clothes on, but I can’t sleep in pajamas; I just wore underwear.
He chuckled as he sat down at the foot of my bed. “I’m not even kidding. Leave!” I spat
Why did my mom even let this creep in? Like really she could’ve warned me it was a guy. How did he even know where I live?
“Okay, Okay. I’ll leave whence you tell me why you don’t like me.” He said
Is he serious? “Well you’re a heartless asshole that only cares about sex, drugs, and drinking.”

**Louis’s POV**
Was I really that bad? Okay yes I am trying to get in her pants, but no other girl has hated me so much before I even did anything.
“Babe, just give me a chance” I tried to use a light tone
“How many times have I told you not to call me that?” Aria said running her hand through her deep red hair. “I told you why I don’t like, and will never like you, now leave.”
She really thought I was going to give up just because of a few mean names? No Aria was past hot and I like a challenge.
I leaned over her kissing the love bite I left on her neck the other night before getting up and leaving. I quickly drove back to my house and parked my truck in the driveway.
“Louis!” My mom yelled as I walked inside “Where have you been?”
I spent the night at some girls house that I meet at a party, usually I don’t stay the night, but I was tired and probably too drunk to find my way home. “Sorry, mom. I was”
“You know what save it,” She cut me off “I know you’re just going to make up an excuse anyway.” She stormed out of the room.

**Aria’s POV** Monday
I stepped out of Leah’s car and made my way toward the school. There was a big huddle of people on the grass in front of the school. “Let’s go see” Leah said pulling me towards the group.
He broke through all the people to see what they were looking at. It was Louis beating up some kid with his group standing behind him. Louis hit the kid again causing him to tumble to the ground. “Get up” he shouted at the kid.
Without thinking I ran and stood in between Louis and the kid who was obviously in a lot of pain barely moving an inch at a time. “Move, Aria” he snarled at me.
I stood my ground “What are you going to beat me too?” He could very easily if he wanted to, but with all the comment I’ve already made to him, I think if he was the kind of guy that would hit a girl I’d be pretty bruised by now. Everyone around us got really quiet.
He clenched his jaw “Get out of my way now”
The kid was now standing up but stayed behind me. “No,” I spat
Obviously it wasn’t a usual to people saying no to him. He had his hands balled up into tight fists by his side and his blue eyes a shade darker than usual. “If you don’t move out of my fucking way-“
“You’ll what?” I shouted.
I felt someone hand place on my shoulder, the boy that Louis was hitting. “You don’t need to do this” He let out.
“I do though,” I said glancing back at Louis “He’s an asshole”
“Well thanks” He smiled. I had never seen this boy before but underneath the bruises on his face he looked really attractive.
“Don’t fucking talk to her” Louis barged in pushing the boy away.
“Louis!” I scream and he directed his attention back to me. I was planning on counting but I just gave him a look then walked around him to the kid. “C’mon lets go you the nurse” I said as I broke through the circle of kids with him by my side. I heard a shout, but didn’t even bother looking back.
“So what’s your name?” I asked the boy.
“Jayden but you can call me Jake.” She said bring his hand through his hair.
“Oh I’m Aria” I smiled up at him
“Hm I get it now,” He laughed “You’re the Aria no guy is allowed to be friends with, talk to, or think about.” He mimicked what Louis said in the courtyard the other day.
“Well I’d why rather be talk to you than him” I laughed
“Well I’m already talking and thinking about you so let’s be friends and make it three for three.” He grinned.
I really like how even though this kid was obviously very hurt he could still laugh and smile. Why is this the first time I’m talking to this Jake boy? “I think that’s a great plan”
We reached the nurse and he walked in. “Bye, Aria. And you better not forget about this friendship” He said and I laughed.
“Here” I said quickly giving him my number “Now Bye, Jake.” I said walking back into the crowded hall.
