One Chance *On Hold*
Chapter 20
**Aria’s POV**
I broke eyes contact with Louis and walked a little deeper into the water. He didn’t mean he ‘would have to change that’ now, did he? We are in public! There are little kids swimming around in the shallower part of the water. The reasonable part of me thought it would be completely in inappropriate, but another part of me wanted to. You really can’t blame me though, he just makes me feel so, I don’t even know how to explain it, alive maybe.
The indescribable feeling came over me as I turned back to him. He had an almost lustful look in his eyes. Suddenly his hands were on my hips, below the water, pulling me closer to him till our bodies were touching. It felt like forever until his familiar lips landed on mine. The kiss became intense quicker than usual, him separating my lips with his and his tongue sweeping into my mouth. I gasped slightly when I felt Louis hands move down to my bum, lifting me up slightly. Wrapping my legs around his waist, the water around me makes me feel weightless.
He pulls away from the kiss to soon and shoots me a smirk before kissing down my neck. An involuntary moan escapes my mouth when he lightly sucks on a sweet spot. Thank goodness, there was no one close enough around us to hear. I feel him grin onto my neck in satisfaction. He leaves one more soft kiss on the spot before pulling his head back up.
“Now whose better me or Aaron?” Louis asked with a smirk.
“Hm, you have room to improve” I said with a smile. I can barely even remember what kissing Aaron was like; I know it was nothing like that, but this is fun for me.
“Oh really, so Aaron could make you moan like that?” a smirk still lingering on his face knowing and confident. He leaned down and gave me another sloppy kiss. I didn’t respond, knowing that I wouldn’t be able to answer that with a straight face if I lied. “Yeah, that’s what I thought” he chuckled before pulling me into another heated kiss.
I tangled my hands into his messy hair. One of his hands was still on my bum, supporting me up. When he lightly squeezed I instinctively tensed up and he laughed into the kiss.
“Seriously you two are in public. There’s little kids’ right over there” I heard Zayn’s voice out of nowhere.
I quickly pulled away from the kiss and took a step away from Louis as my face turned red. I tried to just laugh off Zayn’s comment. Everyone else had just joined us in the water. Louis smirked down at me. Gosh, how I crave that boy. “Seriously, you guys need to learn to stay away from each other till you’re behind closed doors” Harry laughed.
“Hey, this time it was her fault” Louis chuckled and glanced at me.
“Oh really, how?” I said back not knowing how he could pin this on me.
“She challenged me” Louis said to everyone with a laugh.
I walked up the beach to the spot we set up our towels at. The sand was sticking to my still wet feet. I grabbed a towel wiping off all the water.
“What’s this?” Louis said pulling my arm up slightly, bringing his thumb across the black ink that is just below my bikini strap.
“Um well it’s my quote to live by so I got it tattooed” I said shyly.
“You can’t live a positive life with a negative mind,” he read off with a half smile then brought his gaze to meet mine, “I like it.”
“Thanks”
“Is that your only one?” He asked.
“No I have these too” I said turning and pointing to the back of my shoulder where there was a cross and then pointing to a simply tree on my ankle.
“I swear I find you more attractive everyday” he said giving me a quick, playfully kiss.
I felt heat tingle in my cheeks from his comment. “C’mon, Love birds” Perrie’s voice pulled me back to what I was doing. I shoved my towel and shorts into my beach bag then pulled my loose shirt over my still wet bathing suit.
We climbed back up onto the boardwalk and started walking down toward the pier. Niall dropped a penny boards onto the pavement and took off in front of us; soon after Leah was pushing in front of us on her long board. I ran over to Harry who was carrying another penny board. “Can I please, please, please borrow it” I pleaded.
“Do you even know how to ride one” Harry asked in disbelief.
“Uh, yes! Mines back at home.”
“Fine” he laughed “but take care of her” he handed me the dark blue board with light green wheels.
I dropped into out the pavement then pushed off quickly catching up to Leah and Niall. I leaned back and forth lightly making the board curve left and right. The wind was cold on my damp skin, but it felt amazing to be skating.
After we were too far to see the others anymore we decided to turn back. “Bet I can beat you two back” I grinned glancing at Niall and Leah.
Without hesitation Leah pushed off the ground three more time speeding ahead of me I looked at Niall who look surprised before I sped on after her. I avoided all the people and quickly pasted Leah. I heard Jane’s laugh before I could even see their faces. I loved her laugh it was so unique and adorable.
I reached them a few seconds before Leah and Niall came bursting through the crowded boardwalk joining us. “Sorry, but I’m going to have to take this back” Harry said walking up to me.
“but, but” I said with puppy dog eyes poking out my bottom lip.
“That face doesn’t work on me, Love” He chuckled before lifting my off the board and setting me down on the ground. I rolled my eyes and he laughed before skating off into the crowd.
“So you skate too, huh?” Louis joined me a few feet away from the rest of our group.
“Mhm” I hummed out.
“And what else don’t I know about you” he asked with that wonderful half grin on his face.
“You’ll just have to wait and see” I lightly laughed, skipping along in front of him.
“I don’t like surprised, Aria” He said grabbing my hand.
I pulled my hand away and turned to him so I was walking backwards “Well you’ll have to change that cause I’m full of surprises” I smiled then turned forward, jogging up to the rest of the group before he could responded.
