The Hidden Faces

**First day of school**
I opened my eyes and jump out of my bed and land straight on my arse. "Fuck" I mumbled to my self. I had forgotten I was in California. i get up and walk to the unfamiliar bathroom i get all ready my normal attire t-shirt leather jacket skinny jeans and boots and a beanie. i walk downstairs to the kitchen and look at the table there is no tea. "mom, did you make tea?" i ask looking at her almost angry. " No, honey i didn't bring any tea.... I'm sorry" she responds "but we have coffee you want any?" she asks trying to cheer me up "no" i say sharply. she obviously notices that it's something that reminds me of home in London "i'll tell jane to get some at the st-" i cut her off "whatever" i say aggravated and walk out the door. i have a skate board with me because the school that I'm going to is close . god, first day of school i seriously don't know how this is going to go.
i mean, I'm used to new schools but this is all new. completely new school, different language, well its English but you know what i mean. I'm glad i came by yesterday because now i know the way and it's not that awkward. I enter the school doors and walk into a massive farm of teenagers. it's a big school so i don't think anyone would pay much notice to me. i pass by with my skateboard on my arm and people start to stare strangely at me i continue walking and pretend i don't see them. then a guy with dark blue eyes and blonde hair walk up to me and says "hey lad! thanks for helping me out on thor's birthday". "what no i-" he cuts me of and "no really, thanks, honestly i really like your sister and i promise i wont break her heart" i just stare confused and don't say a word "well anyway i'll see you around then" he pats my back and disappears in the crowd of teens. so not what i imagined it would be. i kept walking and suddenly people stopped staring and more of giggled when i passed by. To my surprise this day would get even weirder.
