One Direction Assistants

Rachel's P.O.V.

I had never been so nervous in my life.

Here I was, sitting in a small room, with four other girls, waiting for our new employers.
One Direction. One fucking Direction.

Out of the thousands of people that had applied for Louis Tomlinson's Assistant, I had gotten the job.

And I had no idea why either. I had no experience and I was completely unprofessional.

I guess they figured I'd get along well with Louis or something..

And that was perfectly fine with me. I was delighted for the work. And excited to meet the boys.

I wasn't a huge One Direction fan really but I really liked their music.. This was bound to be an interesting experience.

I was pulled out of my train of thought by the door opening. A short blonde woman, looking extremely formal walked in, followed by the boys of One Direction.

"Boys, these are your assistants - Harry this is Johanna Baxter, Zayn this is Selenus Fox, Liam this is Milana Ray, Niall this is Lillan Cook and Louis this is Rachel Evans" she told them quickly, pointing to each of us as she said our names.

"I'll give you a minute to get to know each other" she added. And with that she was gone out of the room.

As soon as she left an awkward silence filled the room.

Great.

I decided to break the ice.

"So what exactly is it you'll be having us do?" I asked.

Louis scratched the back of his neck awkwardly before responding in the most adorable English accent I'd ever heard.

"Emm.. I'm not really sure, we've never had assistants before" he told me shrugging. I found myself smiling stupidly at his accent.

I was Irish and found English accents to-die-for.

Louis sat down next to me.

"So Rachel, what is it that qualifies you to be my assistant?" he asked, seriously.

I felt my jaw drop.

"I - em- " I stuttered, unsure of how to respond but he just started laughing.

"I'm just messing around with ya" he chuckled, poking my now red cheek. I stuck out my tongue at him.

"Not nice" I muttered, but he knew I didn't really mind.

I liked Louis, I liked his sense of humour. I had a feeling I was gonna like this job.
