The Boy Down the Street
Chapter Twenty One~ Tell me more about. . . well, you
KYLIE'S POV.
"Kylie, get up." I recognized Zayn's morning voice. I opened my eyes, and blinked to get my blurry vision back to normal.
"We need to start sleeping on our bed more." I said groggily. I got up and ready. I made waffles and set them on the table for Zayn. I went to unpack in the living room. Zayn walked in with a plain waffle in his hand. I started to unpack as Zayn watched me.
"Kylie, will you tell me about your dad and brother?" Zayn asked. I stopped. I cleared my throat.
ZAYN'S POV
"Okay. Here goes," Kylie said, "They were both so amazing. My dad had a great job in construction. He was funny, and so easy to talk to. Caden, my brother, he was just, the best person you would ever meet. He loved video games. Wanted to be a video game designer. He was smart and funny. He was my best friend. It wasn't fair, how two good people had died so young. And the drunk bastard lived. It wasn't fair. My father was a good man.My brother had his whole life ahead of him. I miss them so much. I was eleven, and Caden was just barely 14. I lost my father and my best friend that night. He would have been 19 by now,in designed school. My dad would have been 39. They didn't deserve to die." She finished, tears streaming down her face. I walked over to her and enveloped her in my arms.
"They sound absolutly amazing. I'm so sorry Kylie." I said into her hair. All of a sudden the door knocked.
