The Boy Down the Street
Chapter Eleven~That's gonna leave a mark.
We had been driving for about 10 minutes. And I was NOT going to let Nathan make a mess of my innocence. Nathan, at the moment, was falling asleep at the wheel. I had to choose. Get in a car accident, or have a broken bone or two. Second one. I slowly unbuckled and poened the door. Nathan didn't even notice. I looked at the speedometer. We were only going 10 miles per hour der to Nathan's sleepyness. I look at the ground that was moving underneath me. I stood up as tall as I could and edged my way out of the car. I was now standing on the step outside of the car. I slowly closed the door. Then I realized we were heading into a tree, and I jumped. I landed I my feet, then flipped forward, aquiring at least 4 bruises. When I stopped flipping I landed on my right wrist and heard a loud crack. I looked at my injuries. A big bruise here and there. A broken or shattered wrist. A very deep gash on my left side from probably broken glass on the side of the road when I flipped. Ouch. That's gonna leave a mark. I looked at where I was. I was on the curb of a 7 eleven. It's all the way across town from my-er I mean, Zayn's house. I don't live with them anymore. I walked to 7-eleven to make a phone call. "Uh, can I use your phone?" I asked. The guy looked at me and handed me the landline. I dialed Zayn's number. On the second ring he picked. "Zayn! Come get me! I'm at 7 eleven!" I said. "Okay I'll be there in 5 minutes." He said. Five minutes later Zayn walked in and met my eyes. He smilex, then gasped, looking at my gash that was now causing blood to form a puddle at my feet. I looked at it, then blacked out.
