Perrie and I went out of the studio, and we decided to go for a little accessory shopping. Apparently, Perrie is a fan of accessories; I’m more of a shoes and bags person. We’ve spent over 2 hours in every single shop that our eyes could locate in this mall; and yet Perrie wasn’t tired. “Perrie, could we just like have lunch already?” I whined and she scoffed playfully. “I’m not even done! Hehe. Fine! Let’s go grab a bite.” She’s not even done? What about these endless mini bags she’s carrying in her hands? Never mind! We walked to a nice diner across the street from the mall, and we sat on our chosen table.
“So! Tell me something I still don’t know about you Vicky.” I froze; I literally couldn’t move any single finger; not even a twitch or a blink. Why did she have to call me Vicky!? I hate that name, because of the memories it stored for me back in high school! Stay calm, and breathe it’s just a coincidence. “Before I do, do you mind not calling me that please? I just hate that nickname; Vick is acceptable, Hehe!” I threw a light laugh, just to avoid making it awkward. “I’m so sorry, Vick it is!” She smiled and I nodded. “Well, I really don’t have much to say… (I can’t tell her the truth of my entire story, and how her fiancé was my misery.) I just got graduated, and I’m 20 years old. What else? Um, I really push myself to the limit always, just so I can get what I want. (She smiled and I returned one back.) Enough about me, how about you Miss- High- Vocalist? Hehe.”
“Before I tell you about me, I want to ask you something.” I nodded as our food arrived, which we previously ordered. “What’s your star sign?” I replied with a question: “As in my horoscope? (She nodded, and I answered.) I’m a Cancer, why?” Her eyes widened and a flashy grin painted on her mouth. “Get out of here! Mine is Cancer too! You know they say Cancers and Capricorns are a perfect match. That’s why me and Zayn are into each other.” She sighed happily as she played with her engagement ring. Darling, if that’s true, then your fiancé wouldn’t have ruined me in the first place! “(I pushed a smile out and exclaimed.) That’s really nice! I’m glad you too are happy together. You’re kind, sweet, and modest.” She lifted her eyebrow playfully and spoke: “And Zayn?” Why is she asking me about Zayn?! How should I know more than that he literally ruined my life?!
“I’m sure Zayn is a charming gentleman. I don’t really connect with him that much. But Harry seems to be really nice.” She shook her head and laughed.“Did Harold hit on you by any chance so far?” I guess he did, didn’t he? I nodded to her and she breathed positively. “He’s been babbling all about you since yesterday; Zayn actually told me that it’s better if we go to bed than stay listening to him, Hehe.” Okay hold on! Harry is into me?! And why is it so annoying for Zayn to stay and listen to Harry talk about me? No wonder, he never will change will he?
…. Arriving at My place ….
“Welcome to the Parker’s Residence!” I announced and Perrie giggled. “It’s really cozy, I love it.” She was looking around the living room, scanning my humble house. “Do you want to drink anything?” I asked her as soon as I placed my bag on the coffee table. “No darling, it’s ok. (She picked up a book and spoke.) Hey what’s this?” I saw what was in her hand, and I quickly snatched it away from her; why did I leave my yearbook on the table?! I can’t let her go through it! I hope she didn’t read the title or the name of the school! If she did then Zayn will know and I’ll be socially dead once again!
