I Never Doubted It

Victoria's POV:

“Are you going to answer me?” He was silent, fiddling with his fingertips nervously. “Fine, don’t answer. I need to sleep, do you mind closing the door behind you?” He poked both his eyebrows up, since my anger was shaped in the rudeness I used on him before. “It’s not that I don’t want to answer… I don’t know what to do that’s all. You surprised me with all of this, and I am lost in finding a solution… (I scoffed and he sighed.) Doll, I want us both to be happy, but we have so many knots to untie before that… Don’t you think we can postpone the announcement until I at least tell my parents the truth?” I didn’t have anything to reply to this in a positive matter, because I still couldn’t believe that he wants us to be in love secretly from the world!
Why?! Don’t I deserve a normal relationship? “Fine, but until you find a solution; we’ll have to pause everything. I love you so much, but I can’t hide it for the sake of your lie to be exposed…” My answer was completely honest, but my decision was difficult. His eyes watered, and it tore me to pieces seeing them like that; but it’s the only way to balance this. “(He whispered sadly) Are you br-…” I cut him off and replied in shock: “Don’t you dare say those words! Zayn I would rather die than leave you! All I’m suggesting is to freeze things until you fix the situation.” He nodded in a little relief, and I threw my arms around him instantly for comfort. It took him a couple of seconds to pull his arms around me too, as he sniffled his nose.
“(I held his face with both my palms, and pecked him softly.) It’s the only way, huh?” His sadness was matching to mine now, while I nodded silently. “You know I love you more than anything in this world, right?” I instantly answered:“I never doubted it, just fix things so we won’t need to hide our relation. Alright?” I know I’ve been repeating the idea, but it was for a certain reason. I want him to do something about this, because I want to feel like what we share isn’t forbidden by anyone. He nodded and wore his boots, placing a kiss on lips with the lack of passion, and leaving my suite.
…. The Next Morning.…
I was having so many troubles in sleeping at night. I cried and wept for certain hours, but I stopped myself because I was forcing my emotions out. We didn’t break up, but the feeling was close to that. Eleanor’s advice is what I applied. She told me previously to always be the calm one and rational; because this will make any relationship stronger. I felt guilty, but victimized at the same time. It was like drinking cold water, followed by a hot steamy tea mug.
I got a call from Helen, as she was checking on me; making sure that I must prepare myself to head to the studio. I showered and got dressed as casual as possible; even though my wardrobe was all luxurious (http://www.polyvore.com/simplicity_is_key/set?id=111184011&lid=3232549). A knock on the door alerted me, as I opened it hoping it would be Zayn. There wasn’t anyone outside; even though I was sure I heard a knock. I glanced at the door, to find an envelope plastered on the side.
