Existence
Victoria's POV:

We chose a different restaurant, and sat on our chosen table. The eyes of the public were all staring at me, pointing fingers and smiling. It’s a shame I couldn’t smile back, or even put on my public figure mask to act happy. Happiness has left me, once Zayn ran away from my house and life. Eleanor ordered a large portion, because we decided to split the meal in half. “Look, darling; Remember when I last saw you? You weren’t this sad as you are right now… Could you tell me something in complete honesty? (I nodded slowly, as she went on.) Why does Zayn mean that much to you? Have you asked yourself that question lately, sweetie?” I shook my head, and sighed.
“Elle, I tried so hard to find the reason why I worry about him a lot, just like he does, or why I smile wider when I am with him, or even feel like I rule the world when he’s beside me… But, to be honest I never found the reason. Maybe it’s one of these things I shouldn’t find the reason of, maybe it’s like a mystery that shouldn’t be solved. I don’t know, he just seemed to be the person I always wished him to become, and when he finally did, the past came back to knock on the present’s door.” I saw her strangely smiling at me, with a realization expression spread on her face.
“Did you hear what you just said? You’re in love with him, aren’t you?” I coughed nervously, choking on my own breathe. I’m in love with Zayn? That’s not possible! I can’t be in love with him! “No, Elle. I’m not in love with Zayn. That’s not even a possibility.” She laughed a little, taking a sip of her water glass. “Then prove me wrong, and come to the party tomorrow.” Fine, I guess I will, because I am so sure that I don’t love Zayn.
“Alright, I’ll do that. Which reminds me, I got you and Louis the gifts for his birthday; so make sure to remind me to hand them to you when we go back.” She nodded, still smiling at me in warmth. “If you chicken out tomorrow, then I’ll be right about you loving him.” I giggled nervously, and replied: “You’ve got yourself a deal.” She giggled and we ate the platter we ordered, since it just happened to arrive.
….The Next Day (2:30 pm) ….
I was out from the moment I woke up. I had to find something suitable to wear for tonight. I walked from a place to the other, and stopped for pictures every time a fan noticed me (http://www.polyvore.com/maroon_legacy/set?id=110183319&lid=3232549). I finally landed my eyes on the perfect outfit for tonight; making sure it will be a perfect match for the occasion. I left the mall, persistent to prove Eleanor wrong. As soon as I parked my car, I took my bags out, and headed to my door.
But then a specific reason made me stop in my footsteps, and allow myself to stare endlessly. Zayn was getting out of his house, talking on the phone. Once he spotted my existence in the scene, he was almost going to trip off his footsteps. I bit my lower lip afraid he would have fallen down, but he didn’t thank God. He kept looking at me, making me feel that he wanted to talk, but he still was holding himself back from that. I just I hope I won’t need to talk to him tonight, I must mingle with the large crowd as much as possible; just so that I don’t face him. He unlocked his car, and smiled at me purely; which made me shocked, he’s smiling?
Does this mean he wants to put this behind us and move on? He suddenly noticed that he was smiling, so he turned his face back to a rigid form, and kept talking on the phone; while gliding in his car. Why couldn’t I just walk to him and talk first? I couldn’t, I was frozen in my stand, feeling a little satisfied that his eyes haven’t lost that glow when they see me. Could Eleanor be right about this? But how? Me, Victoria Parker, fallen in love with Zayn Malik? Impossible, right?

Alright, Its time for my notes: I wanted to make today's update clear to everyone, on how our beautiful Victoria is feeling <3 I also made sure to show you a slice of Zayn's emotions, just to equal the portions out (Y) Anyway, let's start: Niall and Liam where behaving in complete care and protection for both Victoria and for Zayn. Now, we don't know what went on when the guys went to Zayn's house, but we already have an idea that it was a calming down session. The band cares about Victoria, just like she considers them close to her <3 What about what Eleanor said to Victoria!? :O Could it turn out to be true? But, Victoria is denying it strongly though :/ :( And she already is going to his birthday, just like her dear friend Elle, challenged her. Does that mean she doesn't love him? Perhaps and perhaps not, all we can do is wait for more chapters right ? (Y)
What will happen at the party? Zayn is sick!? Victoria can't take the shock?! Someone unexpected shows up!? Victoria running!? But why and where is she going!? :O
