Back In Time
Victoria's POV:

“Emily! Get me an ashtray over here, please?” I heard her mumble a “Right away.” I focused back at Zayn’s face. Wasn’t he going to tell me what has got him here? Or isn’t he going to mention to me anything about yesterday? Oh I got a question I could ask him to break this silence we’re sharing! “Do you mind if I asked you something?” He shook his head, while Emily placed the ashtray on the table; in front of Zayn. “Why haven’t I seen Perrie last night?” He choked on his smoke, and coughed heavily. His face became rigid, lifeless if that’s what you can name it; I got worried to be honest.
“(He spoke in a gloomy tone.) Could we not talk about that please? I really don’t want to open the subject…” Huh? Since when does he not like to brag about his perfect fiancé, who’s also my perfect best friend? He usually talks about her whenever the guys mention one of their girlfriends. “Are you feeling alright?” He made me freeze entirely, once his palm was placed over my hand. The memory of his touch from last night ran through my vesicles, and I just couldn’t forget how perfect it felt, anymore.
“(I stuttered at the beginning.) Y-yeah, I guess so…” His palm left the surface of my hand, as he placed it on my chin; making my head tilt up gently to meet his perfectly drawn eyes. His other hand turned off the cigarette in the ashtray, changing the position to cupping my cheeks in both of his warm hands. Usually, I wouldn’t bare the smell of cigarette this close, but Zayn strangely wasn’t fuming with that smell.
His hands had a scent mixture of tobacco and citrusy soap; which was very acceptable. He looked at me for a moment, wondering his eyes in mine; making sure I was okay like I lied a minute earlier. He has transformed to the same person that was dancing with me last night; this is a Zayn I can never be away off. If only I could turn back time, and erase the endless days that he made me suffer… But the past could never be changed, could it…?
I placed my hands over his, and slid them away from both my cheeks; placing them on the couch cushion. I tried smiling, but I think I epically failed; I noticed he had an understanding look on his face. I suppose Harry has told him what happened, but was it the reason Zayn went out of the house in anger? “Zayn, why were you angry when you stepped out of that house?” I pointed to the house across the street like a little child, and the color from his face was sucked out, keeping it pale and sad. “Let’s just say, that we both have similar situations.” Okay I get it now, so he’s probably in a fight with Perrie, unlike me and Harry; we just broke up.
“Hey, could I help with anything? If it’s an argument, then I’m sure you two will be back sooner than po-…” He interrupted me with a sudden roar of frustration: “WE CALLED IT OFF!” He breathed out his pressure, and I was turned to stone; this can’t be true. “I’m sorry to interrupt, but there is a Liam Payne on your doorstep? He wishes to see you, Miss.” I haven’t noticed my doorbell ring; he must have knocked the door? “Let him in.” I spoke to Emily, as Zayn tried to maintain himself, why is Liam here?
“Hello.” He spoke cheerfully once he entered, and Zayn and I looked at him like dead people; clearly we aren’t feeling ‘Cheery’. “Hey Liam, what would you like to drink?” He shook his hand understandingly. “Nothing, love. I’m here to pick Mr. Malik up; we need to have a little man to man bond with the guys.” Boring much? But still, this might mean that Zayn will feel better, I guess?
“Is um… you know… Harry… going too?” I sounded awful, like someone stepped on my fingertips and squeezed hard, when I mentioned his name. “I suppose so. He sent me over here to pick up Zayn. I didn’t know he was at your place to be honest.” Zayn glared at Liam like what he said was embarrassing or inappropriate; I need a break from something called MALES for quite the time!

Notes: Well I know we all are shattered that Harry and Victoria ended their 'Cute' relationship, but is this the end between them? I guess not, because I promise there might be intense thrills sooner than you all expect! :D Zayn and Perrie called of the engagement?! :O :'( Why!?! We all still need to know, but I guess Zayn will explain further in the next chapters (Y) <3 Let me just say this before I get judged: Guys I am a #Zerrie shipper to the extreme, but this is a ZAYN MALIK Fan Fiction; so I did it for the purpose of the story nothing more <3 :D Anyway back to the notes, have you noticed Liam didn't open any topic considering both Victoria and Zayn's separate relationships? It was a smart move to do, because they both were devastated. <3
2:00 am in the morning? Victoria crying for a new reason!? Zayn is smirking!? Harry has a major fight before he leaves to LA?! But with who?! And Why?! :O
