I ran after Harry. It felt stupid, but I ran after him.

"May." Preston grabbed my arm confused. He stood a few footsteps away from me, his arm stretching out. I glanced at him then turned fast to see Harrys back. It was weird, I felt young again, I felt he was the innocent Harry I always knew.

"Harry don't leave me with Derek!" I screamed. My mouth dropped when I realized what I had yelled. Harry turned around and Preston's touch left my arm. Harry stood there his mouth opening then closing every now and then. His face showed me was worried, but confused. I didn't want to, but I broke Harrys eye contact and looked to Preston.

"Who is Derek?" Preston mutters. I glanced to harry who was gone, and that was another mistake since Preston got mad.

"Preston I'm sorry!" I shout when he rolls his eyes and heads back to his house. I sat there and put my hands to my eyes.

Harrys p.o.v.

I stormed into the house and slammed the door. I stomped around in a circle pissed off. I wanted to scream. I came back for her right? I apologized and she just rejected me!

"Hawwy?" The twins voices were quiet but high pitched.

Oh yeah, she has kids.

"Sorry, did I wake you up?" I mutter walking over to them. I pick them up and lay them on my lap. They barely fit, they didn't fight.

"Where's mommy?" Hayley asks. These kids are sharp, and very adorable.

"She's outside right now." I reply. Henry snuggled to my chest.

"Awe mommy and daddy fighting?" Henry asks. I rub his head, wrapping my arms around the two of them.

"We aren't together. We separated a long time ago when daddy did something stupid." I explain remembering the past. Hayley gives me a big side hug. I check the time and set them on the bed.

"It's really late, you need to go back to sleep." I mutter covering them up. They both yawn closing their eyes.

"I wuv you." Henry mutters before he goes to sleep. I smile, being a dad doesn't seem that bad with these two.

I hear the door close and see May walk in, her head low. I stride to her.

"I should leave." I whisper before I gave her a quick hug and left the house.

I should just leave May alone with Predton, I'm just ruining her future.

Preston (next morning) p.o.v.

I kept on unlocking my phone in hopes May would either call or text. I guess it was my fault for inviting Sarah and Harry over last night. The twins need up loving him, and I think I realize how special Mayand Harry's past was. After not getting a text I decided to get up and ask May who Derek was.

"Hello?" May answers the door. Her face faded a little when she noticed it was me.

"Can we talk?" I ask.

"Is that daddy?" The twins yell stomping over to the door. I got even more mad when they pouted and returned to whatever they were doing. May let me in and we sat at the kitchen table. She made some tea and we sipped on it.

"So about last night." She starts. I stop her.

"It's fine. It was late and you were obviously upset. Whatever it was I'm fine with it." I shrug. That wasn't what I wanted to say at all. She got up and gave me a huge hug. Well, I don't mind that at all. She gave me a side kiss and went to the twins.

Guess I'll have to find out who Derek is by myself.
