Move It
(Taurean's P.O.V)
“I’m gonna kill you!” He yelled, in a thick French accent.
“Um, throw something at him! He always hated when I did that!” Lou yelled, frantically throwing stuffed animals and old baby dolls out the hole we came up through.
“How do you know him?” I asked, putting my hands on my waist. Now is not the time to panic.
“I’ll explain later. Guys, he will tear this tree house apart to kill us. Seriously.”
“Oh, my God. You’re such an idiot sometimes, Louis!” Charlie yelled, clearly getting frustrated.
“Just throw stuff, Charlie! You can pick on me, later!” He screamed, still throwing things.
“Hey, Li, help me with this.” I said, finding an old dial-up computer.
“Brilliant!” Lou said, coming over and helping us pull it out of all the junk. Once it was out, I let go, allowing him and Liam to carry it. “Ready?” Lou asked, steadying his side.
“As I’ll ever be.” Liam said. Then, they let it go. Charlie ran to the window, pushing me out the way. I fell back, landing on an old Barbie doll.
“Ouch.” I muttered, trying to push myself up.
“Watch it, Charlie!” Liam called, helping me. I smiled up at him as his arms wrapped around my waist, once I was on my feet.
“Guys, it worked!” Charlie yelled. Everyone ran over to the window, including Liam. And… moment ruined. They all started climbing down the rope ladder, careful not to fall, but rushing before the King came to. Once my feet hit the dead grass, I could see that the King was lying on the ground, the computer on top of him. I rubbed my butt in the spot where the Barbie’s arm had been.
“We need to leave… now.” Lou said again.
“We can’t. We have to finish the game…” Liam said. He was sure that finishing the game was the only way to fix everything.
“Well, we can bring the game. Shit, did anyone grab it?” He asked.
“I did.” Niall smiled, holding up the board and deck of cards.
“Thank God.” I breathed out. Finally something was going right… my butt was still sore. God, I hate Barbies.
“Louis, why is he trying to kill you?” Charlie asked, her hands still shaking.
“I’ll explain later, we need to get out of here!” He said, making his way to the front door on his own.
“Fine.” Charlie muttered and we all followed after her. We tried to all squeeze in the car we arrived in but the King is stronger than we thought he was. He ran toward us from the backyard, already having regained consciousness.
“I’m going to kill you!” He yelled, pointing at Louis. I screamed as loud as I could. Charlie and I were pushed into the car with the game while the boys tried to fight him off. A few punches were thrown and then Liam and Louis climbed into the car and sped off.
“Go to my apartment.” Charlie said, breathing hard. I laid my head on Liam’s chest. This was just too much. So much drama and just… too much to handle.
Charlie gave Louis directions and he pulled into the lot. We climbed out and made our way into her apartment, never saying a word. As soon as the door had closed behind us, Liam didn’t waste another breath. I sat the game down on the table.
“Louis, why is the King of France so set on killing you?” He asked, going all serious. It was then that I noticed there were only four of us.
“Umm… guys…”
“I may or may not have deflowered one of his daughters…” Louis said, scratching his head and looking around.
“Louis!” Charlie yelled at the same time I spoke again.
“Guys!” Yet no one listened to me.
“Louis, you’re so dumb sometimes!” Charlie said again. Liam stayed silent, thinking, no doubt.
“Yeah, well there was nothing else to do!” He defended, not making his case better, at all. You know what? No one wants to listen, fine! I’ll make them. For the first time since I was a kid, I cursed.
“Guys! Where the fuck is Niall?”
