(Sorry) Blame It On Me

Darlene's POV
Once I stepped out of the car I could tell this place, was a brand new start for me. I mean I loved our old home but after that incident, I could never see that place as my home again. Andrew pushed me aside, and told me to move. I messed up his hair and told him to buzz off, mom and dad grabbed the suitcases and walked towards the house. This house was like an ancient mansion, almost like an haunted house. I looked across the street and saw a slightly smaller home, with newer updations. With that I took my purse and headed towards our new house, everything was placed perfectly in every room.
I plopped on my bed and took out my phone,I scrolled through my messages to my best friend Lana, today was the day I finally get to see her after 3 years. Today is the last day of summer, then I go to Shetens High School and finally become a senior. " Darlene, Lana's here!" Once I heard those words I bolted down the stairs. "Lana!" " Darlene!" " Omg , i can't believe your here, you moved so far!" " I know , I missed you so much I can't wait to spend the rest of senior year with you!" I pulled Lana upstairs to my room to catch up on our lives. I learned that she has a boyfriend named Liam that's in a gang, he is so called the sweetest boy in the world. After she left I was so nervous to start the next day.
