Just the Friend

-ASHTONS POV-
“Mate, get up.” Someone slapped my face gently and I groaned swatting the hand away.
“Ashton, get up.” I hear a stern voice next to me. I open my eyes and come face to face with Paul, Luke, Michael, Calum and Niall. Suddenly, I feel shuffling from my lap. Angel was still sleeping with her head in my lap and I must have fallen asleep also along the way.
“We are at the hotel. You have been sleeping the whole four hour drive and we have been trying to wake you two up for 5 minutes.” Paul says clearly annoyed.
“Sorry Paul. We will meet you at the front desk.” I rub my eyes tiredly and watch them all grumble as they walk out.
“Sup Ashton!” Niall grins and pats my shoulder as he passes by me and walks off of the bus.
“Angel.” I smile slightly at her sleeping figure and poke her arm.
“mmm uh.” She groans and digs her face into my leg. I chuckle.
“C’mon love, we are at the hotel.” I lift her head off of my lap and stand up. Her head smacks back onto the leather cushion.
“Fine.” Angel gripes and stands up, sleepily running a hand through her long hair. I walk over and lift one of the shades and see a large crowd of papz at the door of the hotel. Great. When I turn back around, I see Angel making herself a cup of coffee. I wait patiently as I look at her long legs in her short jean shorts. So perfect.
“What?”
“Huh?” I look up at her face now.
“You said ‘So perfect’.” She giggles and looks at me if I was crazy.
Shit, did I say that out loud?
“Yes you did say that out loud.” Dylan laughs and pours her coffee into a mug.
“Sorry I was thinking about how awesome some tea sounds right now.” I coughed awkwardly and walk away from the window. “Ready? There are a lot of papz today.”
“Ugh!” She whines and stomps her foot. “Don’t they have lives? Like a wives, husbands, and children?”
“I don’t know. Let’s just get through it then we can have an Angel and Boo day!” She immediately perks up from my words.
“Yay! Let’s go give these mother fuckers something pretty to look at for once!” Dylan fist bumps the air and opens the door. We step off of the bus and walk across the street to where the hotel is. Without delay, Papz surround us.
“I thought she was Louis’ girl!?”
“What happened lady? Did you get tired of him already?!”
“Or is she just a slut that takes two men at a time!? CHEEKY!” I stop abruptly and swing around. I could feel anger flood my face.
“Ash! No! Let it go! I’m fine!” Angel puts her hand on my chest. I look down into her eyes and see sincerity as the anger slowly recedes.
“Twats.” I spit and turn around again with her hand in mine as I pull her along.
“Nooooooooo! My coffeeeee!” She whines. Someone must have bumped into her and made her drop the mug.
I huff and shake my head as I tug her up the steps and through the glass doors.
“My coffee!” Dylan pouts and climbs on one of the chairs as she presses her face against the window. The white mug had been shattered and was on the ground in the midst of the people. I grab her waist from behind, pick her up, and drag her away from the window.
“Ashton put me down! I am gonna go rough them up for spilling my coffee!” She growls and tries to escape.
God that was sexy.
“I will make you more just chill out for like 5 minutes.” I laugh and carry her over to where everyone else was standing.
“You can’t make coffee! You are British for god sakes!” Dylan shrieks.
“I’m Australian, but good try.” I shake my head and set her on the ground.
“Dylan!” Michael shouts.
“Mikey!” She squeals and hugs him.
“Why are you hugging? Haven’t you been on the same bus for the whole drive?” Liam chuckles.
“I was asleep. I don’t think we have met. I am Dylan, Ashton’s best friend!” She grins and shakes his hand.
“I am Liam, that is Harry and Zayn and you know Niall and Lou.” Liam smirks at the mention of Louis name. Angel blushes.
In my head, I punch the shit out of Louis. But in real life I look away and act like I didn’t see him look her up and down.

-DYLANS POV-
I blush at Liam’s words and shake the rest of the boys hands but hug Nialler and Louis.
“Hey beautiful.” Lou whispers in my ear so only that I could hear. The hairs on the back of my neck stand up. He’s so hot. He was wearing a white v-neck and rolled up jeans with white chucks on his feet. Louis also had his sleeves rolled up once so that you could get a full look at his muscley biceps.
When I let go of Louis, I get pulled into another hug. I could smell Luke’s delicious cologne.
“You smell so good!” I sniff his shirt again as he laughs.
“What about me?” Calum pouts.
“I don’t know why I am hugging y’all. I just saw you.” I giggle.
After I get out of Calum’s grip, I go and stand next to Ashton.
Paul hands out the key cards and we all heard into the elevators. I walk behind and talk to Zayn. He is actually really chill.
“So what do you do in your free time? You know, other than sleep.” He laughs.
“I uh- I am actually a dancer. I have been dancing since I could walk.” I look at the ground with my hands in my pockets.
“What kind of dance?” He asks.
“Mainly hip-hop but I do ballet, tap, jazz, and belly also.” I nod and smile as I remember my dance studio back at home.
“Belly?”
“Belly dancing!” I giggle. “You know, like shakira?”
“Wow sounds like fun! You will have to show me sometime!” Zayn chuckles.
“Well I have a youtube channel! You should look it up.”
“Maybe I will.” He smiles.
I glance down and notice his inked arms.
“Woah! I love your tattoos bro! I have always wanted one but my mom said not till im 18.” I pout.
“Well aren’t you 18 now..?”
“Oh yeah! Now I can get a tattoo! YAAAASSSS!” I fist bump the air.
“Oooo! Can I come when you get it?! Promise you will take me!” Zayn grins and I nod.
Suddenly I feel someone scoop my ass. I gasp and glance behind me to see Louis standing with his hands in his pockets. He wore a giant smirk on his face.
“Excuse me for a minute.” I tell Zayn and walk over to Louis.
“What do you think you’re doing!? You can’t do that in front of everyone!” I scowl. He stares at me and takes his lip in between his teeth.
“You are so hot when you are angry.” Louis growls and pulls me hard into his chest.
“Stop changing the subject.” I push at his chest.
“Why? I like seeing you angry.” He licks his lips and leans down. But before he could kiss me his fingers dig into my side and taze me. I squeal and spin out of his grip as he laughs and goes after my sides again.
“Ahhhh!” I scream and run away from him. I hide behind Ashton. Just then, the elevator finally dinged. I pulled Ashton, Zayn and Michael into the elevator before pressing the close door button.

“So what movie is this again?” Ashton asks as we sit down in the back row with all of our popcorn and candy.
“Heaven is for Real! Its about a 3 year old who dies, sees Heaven then comes back to life.” I tell him as the lights dim and adds start to come onto the screen.
“This should be interesting.” He sighs and stuffs a handful of popcorn into his mouth.

-LOUIS POV-
The lads and I were sitting in our hotel room playing fifa. Liam, Harry, Niall and I were going against each other and Zayn was sitting on the other couch on his lap top.
“Niall! You are cheating!”
“No im not!”
“Yes you are!”
“Guys!”
“Yeah?” we all paused the game and looked over a Zayn.
“You might wanna see this.” We all crowd around his laptop.
