-DYLANS POV-
Louis and I drive down the road in a comfortable silence with the radio on low. Suddenly I hear it.
“Eeeeek! Can I pretty please turn up the radio?” I pout and bash my eye lashes at him. He chuckles and turns it up. I’m not usually this into the newer music but this song is hard to listen to without dancing!
“Been around the world, don’t speak the language but your booty don’t need explaining! All I really need to understand is when, you, talk dirty to me!” I sing along to the radio and wiggle a little in my seat as Louis looks from me to the road then back again with a very amused grin on his face.
By the next chorus we were both dancing and singing along to Jason Derulo.
“Dos Cadenas, clothes are genius. Sold out arenas, you suck my ___” The radio cuts out the inappropriate parts. Which doesn’t make sense because the whole song is sex.
“Talk dirty to me, talk dirty to me, talk dirty to me. Get jazzy on me.” Louis and I were laughing hysterically at each other by the time the song ended.

“That was Jason Derulo, Talk Dirty. Next up is One Direction’s Story of my Life, stay tuned.” The radio announced. Louis shut off the radio before his could come on and I giggled.
“You know Ashton was telling about how y’all did like a cover or something of that?” I raise my eyebrows at him.
“Oh, that.” He chuckled nervously. “It was really a cover. It was a video we show our fans who were watching 1Dday of us dancing around like idiots to the song.” Lou laughed at little.
Without thinking otherwise I grab my phone from my purse at my feet and go to Youtube, searching it up.
“What are you doing?” Louis looks over at my phone and tries to snatch it from me.
“Nah ah Tommo keep your hands on the wheel! 10 and 2! 10 and 2!” I playfully scold him as I click on the first video that comes up. Turning the volume all the way up I watch as Lou and Niall start off the video in front of a big screen that says 1DDAY. They were talking to the camera and being idiots as usual.
Louis groans next to me.
Suddenly the music starts and I immediately I was in a fit of giggles. They were all being really funny and dancing around. Louis wasn’t in it as much as I would have liked because the more I see the more I can tease him about it but it was nice seeing them have so much fun backstage.





I was laughing so hard by the end of it that I had tears in my eyes. You are probably sitting at home thinking ‘it was THAT funny’, but I see them every day all in mostly serious moods then you see this and it is absolute perfection.
“I am going to have to talk to Niall because he actually has some moves.” I gasp mockingly as Louis scoffs and rolls his eyes. “Jealous?” I giggle.
“Will you dance for me when we get back?” I was taken aback by his comment. He didn’t mean in like a sexual way did he?
“No, not in a sexual way you loon! I mean I watching one of your Youtube videos and think you are completely amazing and I want to see it in person.” He laughs at me. I said that out loud?
“Yes you did.”
“Shit.” I laugh at myself.
“Please.” Louis pouts.
“Fine, fine.” I sigh and he grins in triumph. I cannot believe I just agreed to that.
About 10 minutes later we pull up to a dirt road that I almost missed due to the fact that the sun is setting and there are a lot of trees. After a few minutes of driving on gravel he suddenly stops the car and parks it.
“Um Lou?”
“Yeah babe?”
“Why are we stopped?”
“Because this is where we get out.” He smiles before jumping out of the car and over to my door to open it. When I hop out I see that we are concealed in some dense trees. Taking my hand he walks m gingerly through the woods until out of the blue it appears. A big pond over-looking a field emerged from the plants and there was a long dock going to the middle of the water with a gazebo at the end of it. From what it looks like there is a candlelit table and chairs set up in the gazebo.
“Lou this is-,”
“Cheesy?”
“Spectacular.” I correct him before I pull him down by his neck and to my lips. He reciprocates immediately and pulls me closer to him. It was a sweeter kiss with no tongue and a lot of passion.
God I am seriously falling for this one.
We sat down and there was steak and potatoes with steamed vegetables already waiting for us on the table. There was also a bucket, and mean BUCKET, of chocolate covered strawberries for dessert. Louis and I talked and laughed for a while before Lou cleared his throat nervously.
“Okay I have something important I need to ask.” I can feel Louis tap his foot nervously on the dock.
“Okay Lou, go ahead.” I try not to giggle as he lets out a breath.
“Dyl I have only known you for a couple of weeks but I have never felt like this before with anyone. You literally mean so much to me and obviously I am not very good at putting my feelings into words so I am just going to cut to it.” He is rambling. That’s adorable. “I want to make this official so Dylan would you please be my girlfriend?” He nervously smiles and I giggle.
“Yes Louis I would absolutely, positively love to be your girlfriend.” Louis’ smile grows and he yanks me up from my chair to pull me into his strong arms before lowering his mouth to mine.
“Oh wait I have something for you!” He straightens his body to dig into his pocket and pulls out a blue box. It has a white bow on it and reads ‘Tiffany and Co.’. I gasp.
“Louis this is too much! First this amazing date and now this.” Louis rolls his eyes.
“Just open it.”
I bite my lip and carefully lift the lid off of the box and the breath catches in my throat when I see an Emerald teardrop necklace with a diamond hook. It was beautiful.
“Will you put it on me?” I ask taking it out of the box and handing it to him delicately. He nods and brings it in front of my face before resting it on my collar bone and latching it in the back. I lift my hair from the necklace and turn around to look at him.
“Louis tonight has been amazing. Thank you so much. You seriously have gone through so much trouble to do this big thing for me.”
“You are worth it baby.”
