Lost Without You

I had just arrived at the bakery. I loved working here. It's fun. And then he walks in.

"hey can we talk" he said.

"How about ... NO!" I said

"look I'm sorry!" He said.

"You had no right to follow me home and you know what I didn't tell your cause it wasn't my fucking business to tell!" I said loudly.

"Well I need to see her! Adelaide please listen to me!" He said.

"Look she left you because she was afraid you would stop you dream to be with her and she didn't want that! she loves you almost as much as she loves the twins! And you have to let her want you too see and be around the kids cause if not she's gonna push you away. She doesn't want you quitting your dream for her. She'd feel guilty and rude. So just let it go! You need to let her live her life. When she's ready she'll date you again. There's just to much going on in her life to add drama! Okay now drop the subject and what do you want to eat? " I said. I know I was being a bitch but I was being a bitch to protect my best friend.

"I'll take a muffin." He said. I handed him his muffin and with that he left
