Chapter thirty-three
May 14th 2010
Charlotte's POV:
I am now exactly 12 weeks and we are just about to go for our first scan. My belly is already expanding, but it just looks like I've eat too many Freddos to someone not in the know, which is everyone but Harry and Sophie. But due to the Luckily, my parents are away with work like always and Harry's are at work today, so we should be able to steer clear of everyone.
My sickness is finally clearing but, due to my nerves about the impending scan, a wave of nausea is overcoming me.

"Hmm...Just give me a moment Miss Stanley."
"Harry, why has the doctor gone? Is something wrong? Oh my god something's wrong with my baby!" was on the verge of tears thinking that something was wrong with our little angel.
"Shh, Charlotte calm down, I'm sure everything is perfectly..." Harry was cut off by a different doctor entering the room alongside the original one.
"Hello Miss Stanley, Dr. Freeman just needed me to confirm something, but don't worry your baby is in excellent health!" He looked over at the screen and the turned to Dr. Freeman, "Hmm, yes, it looks as though your suspicions were correct. Well I wish you two all the best with your pregnancy." He spoke before exiting the room.
I sat, nervously waiting for her to tell me what her suspicions are, I'm curious.
"Well congratulations guys, it seems as though you're expecting twins."
"Twins?!" Me and Harry both questioned at the same time. I don't even know what my feelings are. It's like I'm numb. We've only just got our heads around the fact that we're having one baby and now I'm supposed to cope with two! I mean I've never even held a baby, I'm going to be such a pathetic mother.
"Yeah, definitely twins, would you like to see?"
"Yes." Harry answered before the words could flow off my tongue.
"They're my babies?"
"Yeah, would you like me to get a copy of the ultra scan for you?"
"Y.yes please." I spoke through my tears that were now flowing freely at the sight of my unborn children. It's feels so alien having human beings growing inside you, it's such a undescribable feeling.
"Okay, I'll leave you alone for a bit."
