Our Lives

Remi's P.O.V.

I heard somebody outside shout, "a motherfucking vacation!" So it must be Valentine. I quickly run outside to meet her and Louis.

As soon as I see Louis, I jump on his back and hug him from behind. "HELLO!" I scream in his ear.

"Jesus fucking Christ, Remi! You scared the shit outta me!" Louis laughed. I jump down, kiss his cheek, and walk over to Valentine to help her with her bags.

"Hello darling," she teases. I just smile at her before giving her a hug and taking her backpack. "So, how did you get here?"

"I third wheeled with Niall and Chloe. It started to get disgusting. They need to tone down their PDA," I cringe thinking of the drive. They kept touching each other like every five seconds. It was terrible.

"Only those two, I tell you. Is everyone else here yet?" She questions.

I have to think of who's inside before I answer her. "No, Liam and Lola still have to show up."

"I wonder what they're doing?" She wiggled her eyebrows at me and I burst out laughing. When it comes to Liam and Lola, anything could happen, no matter where they are. . ..

I hear a car pull up while the rest of the group are eating. I run outside on too my balcony, and see Liam's car parked in the driveway. "Oh. My. God!" I yell running down the stairs.

"They're here, you guys! They're finally here!" I yell to the people sitting in the living room as I run past.

The front door opens and a voice shouts, "Honeys, we're home!" Lola. I tackle her in a hug, and pat Liam on the head.

"So what took you guys so long?" I tease.

"I overslept by an hour, and took an hour to get ready. Plus the drive here was kind of long," Liam claims. Sure. . .

"Well, we are grilling burgers out back, so come and join us once you get your stuff in your room. Take a right at the end of this hallway and your guys' is the last one on the left," I say.

"Thanks," Lola says before grabbing her bags and heading to her room.

I walk back out to the patio and Louis pats the seat next to him. "Come and sit by me, love."

I sit next to him and smile before kissing him quickly. "So the lovebirds are finally here," I say while drinking a beer.

Liam and Lola walk out onto the patio and over to us while holding hands. "How nice of you guys to join us," Louis says sarcastically.

"What he means to say is hello. Right babe?" I say smacking his arm. He nods quickly and looks at me scared. I kiss his arm where I hit it and sit back in my chair while holding his hand.

I'm walking outside on the beach at sunset with Louis, just being silent and enjoying his company. "The sunset is so pretty," I admire quietly.

"It sort of matches your hair," Louis jokes. I laugh with him before he adds, "It really is though."

"When I was little, I always dreamed of having a house on the beach like this. That way I could swim everyday and watch the sunset every night," I say.

"That's a nice dream to have," Louis replies. I squeeze his hand gently and he squeezes back as we head inside.

We find the others in the kitchen talking, laughing, and drinking with each other. I sit down while Louis grabs us both drinks.

"So, let's play 2 Truths 1 Dare," Emma suggests. We all agree, and she goes first. "Remi, 2 Truths or 1 Dare?"

"Um, 2 Truths," I reply nervously. Sometimes when we play this game it gets a little out of hand.

"1. Have you ever drank while you were underage before? And 2. Do you have any tattoos?" She asks.

"Yes, I have to the first one. And I have two tattoos."

"What are they?" Harry asks.

"The first one is on my hip and it is a side cross with an infinity sign attached to it, and the second one I got about a week ago actually. It is on my shoulder blade and it is a bunch of birds flying away," I saw showing them the one on my hip, but tell them that they can see the other one tomorrow when we go swimming.

I have a feeling that this is going to be an awesome vacation.
