A New Year's Love

Chapter 5

~Milly's P.O.V.~

At about 4:30, I decided to start getting ready for my date with Harry. I took a quick shower, and dried and straightened my hair. Next I put on a little bit of mascara and some eyeliner. I had a little blush on, but not enough that it looked unnatural. I
got into my outfit, which turned out to be a loose fitting shirt and some leggings. Starbucks isn't that much to dress up for.
"Kat, does this look good?" I asked as I showed her my outfit.
"Depends. Where are you going?" Kat replied to me as she put a spoonful of yogurt in her mouth.
"Starbucks," I answered.
"Yeah, looks fine," she stated as she plopped down on the couch and turned on the tv.
"Well, it's already 5:30, I better get going. See ya later," I said to Kat as I walked to get my car keys and go out the door.
"I'LL MISS YOU TILL YOU GET BACK!!!" Kat jokingly yelled at me. I chucked a bit before getting in my car and driving.

When I got inside the Starbucks, it was 5:57. Harry should be here soon. I looked around and saw an empty table, so I sat there to wait for him. A few minutes later I saw his dark curls step foot inside the coffee shop and I smiled at him. He waved and came over to me.
"Hey Milly, how are you?" Harry asked.
"I'm good, you?" I replied, trying to keep conversation.
"Great actually. Have you ordered yet?"
"No, wanna go do that?" I asked. He nodded his head and walked me over to the counter. I ordered the salted caramel frappe and Harry got the peppermint mocha. We sat at the table and waited for our names to be called.
"Mr. and Mrs. Styles,"
"Really?" I said as I gave Harry an annoyed look. He laughed a little and then apologized.
"Sorry, I just couldn't help it," Harry said with a smile and a wink. He got up and came back moments later with our coffees.
"Thanks," I said as I grabbed mine.
"No problem," Harry said with his dimply smile. We talked a little bit until we had drank our coffees. We threw them away and got into his car. We drove around a little until he stopped, and it was a little dark outside so I couldn't see where we were. He hopped out as went around the car to open the door for me. I thanked him as I stepped out.
"Harry where are we?" I asked in confusion.
"The park," he replied as he grabbed my hand and started walking. I followed next to him, and we walked until we decided to sit down on the swingset. We talked a little about old times, about Raelynn and Leah.
"Harry, I'm really sorry that all of that had to happen to you," I said after a while. I stood up from the swings and he stood up too.
"Don't be. I wouldn't be here with you if it happened any other way," Harry said as he leaned in and closed the space between us. The next thing I knew, our lips were engaged in a fiery dance. After a while I pulled away, trying to catch my breath. I looked up at him and a large smile was plastered on his face.
"You have no idea how many times I've dreamed about this," I said to him.
"Ditto," Harry replied before leaning in and kissing me again.
