She Stole My Heart
Chapter 7
Julia's POV
I woke up to Sam shaking me awake. “Juuuuuuuuulia! Wake up!” I heard Sam yelling. I groaned and rolled over. “Julia! C’mon! Get up!” she continued yelling at me. I pulled the covers over my head. “Nooo!” she said and yanked them down. I threw my pillow at her and sat up a bit. I glanced at my purple clock. 9:06. “Why did you wake me up so early?” I asked her.
“Well, I had toast, but then I got bored. So here I am!” she told me and did jazz hands. I flopped back down, frustrated. “I don’t know how, or when, but I will get my revenge.” I said.
“But you’re getting up, right?” she asked eagerly.
“Ya, I guess, there’s no way I’m gonna fall back asleep now. Give me a half an hour and I’ll be out” I sighed.
“Yay!” she said, clapping her hands. She walked out of my room. I groaned and rolled out of bed, grabbed my crutches and went to the bathroom. I showered and then threw on some clothes. I stopped at the kitchen and grabbed a bowl of blueberries. “Julia!” I heard Sam call. “What?” I yelled back.
“What are you doing?” I sighed and walked to the living room.
“I was just getting breakfast. What do you want?”
“Ohhh! Berries!” she said and grabbed a handful. “So, what do you want to do today?”
“Well, we could invite the boys over. They had us over already.” I suggested.
“Ya! But we might want to clean up a bit.” she said.
“Ya, and hide any embarrassing One Direction stuff.” Laughing, we set out to get our flat in order, and an hour later, everything looked ship-shape. “Ok, I’ll text the boys, and you get some chips.” I said. I automatically started my message to Harry. Hey, do you guys want to come over today? Oh, it’s Julia by the way. My text read. Cringing at the awkwardness, I hit send. After a minute or so, Harry texted back. Sure! Can the girls come too? I instantly texted back. Of course! They are so nice! Meet in about an hour? Then I added our address and sent it. Ok, see you soon! My heart skipped a beat when I saw that message. I can’t believe I’m texting Harry Styles! Like, THE Harry Styles. “Ok Sam, they’re coming in an hour!” I said.
“An hour!” she yelled. “I only have an hour to get ready!? Could you have given me some time at all?” she yelled frantically and ran to her room. I went to my closet and looked around. I finally decided on some clothes that would have to do. I did my hair and makeup and went back to the couch. A little after I sat down Sam came out with an outfit. “What do you think?” she asked and twirled around.
“Wow! You look amazing!” I said.
“Thanks!” she said gleefully. “You look fabulous!”
“Why thank you darling!” I said in a fake accent. I took a look around and nodded approvingly. Everything looked good. I decided that I couldn’t sit down anymore and stood up, leaning against my crutches. Finally, the doorbell rang. I waited a couple seconds and opened the door. “Hi! Good to see you!” I welcomed them. We all hugged each other and settled around the living room. After talking for a bit, Niall suggested we watch a movie. Everyone agreed, and Sam turned on Netflix. We scrolled through the movies, and everyone had an opinion. I sat down at the end of the sofa and leaned my crutches next to Harry. “Hi!” I said.
“Hey” he responded. I could feel myself blushing. Stupid cheeks! After a while, Louis screamed when he saw one. “OOOH! WE HAVE TO WATCH THIS ONE!” I gasped.
“No, I hate horror movies!”
“C’mon, a bit of scaring is good for you.” Dani said. After arguing a while, we took a vote and I lost, so we turned it on. The first twenty minutes was fine, but when something popped out, me, Sam, and Eleanor screamed. Everyone laughed and I was grateful that the light was off so no one could see me blushing. The next one was worse. I practically jumped onto Harry’s lap. He put his arms around me and I smiled up at him, and he grinned back. God, he was so hot! I my head was burrowed against his chest for pretty much the whole movie. About halfway through, Harry started playing with my hair. I love it when people play with my hair. I smiled over at Sam, who was about as cuddled up to Niall as I was to Harry. We exchanged smiles and I realized that everyone was as scared as we were. I mean, all the boys were trying to act tough, but I could see the fear in their eyes. For most of the movie, my eyes were shut and I was hidden against Harry. All I really heard was screams and shaky voices. I was, however, much more aware of the fact that I was cuddled with Harry. He smelled so nice, and his hands in my hair felt so good. I don’t care if I hate this movie; this is the best time I’ve ever had watching anything. Well, I’m not actually watching it, but whatever. I wanted this moment to last forever. And with one glance of Sam and Niall, I could tell they did too. But, all good things must come to an end, and it was all too soon when the movie was over. None of us made a move to get up, actually, a few (Harry included) didn’t seem to even realize that it had ended. Not until Eleanor said “That was the worst and scariest movie that I’ve ever seen.” did Harry come back to reality. And when he did, he just picked me up and placed me on his lap, my head next to his. “So, how did you like the movie Harry?” I asked him with a smile.
“Best one I’ve ever seen.” He replied with a wink that made me melt inside. I suddenly wanted to kiss him so bad, and I think he did too. He started to lean in a little, and I thought our first kiss was going to happen right then and there, when Zayn blurted out, “I thought the movie was great!” We backed up from his lips and we both sighed softly. Everyone started giving their opinions on it and I looked down. We had been so close. But, something told me we would have another chance. The hardest part would be waiting.
