She Stole My Heart

Sams POV

"So, are you ready to get out of this place!" I asked Julia. She was about to be released out of the hospital about 2 weeks after the accident. Harry had been released a few days before but he had been visiting Julia a lot.
"Totally!" she Replied. "Lets go!"
We walked down the hospital corridor and out into the parking lot.
"Your car is in the shop after the big blow it took in the crash." I informed her. "It should be out in a couple days, but for now were stuck taking cabs."
I signaled a taxi to come pick us up and drive us to our flat.
"Oh by the way, I got all the boys numbers." I told her. "They want to hang out with us soon."
"Ok, Harry gave me his number but can you give me everyone else's?" She asked. "Sure." I said and repeated them all as she rapidly typed them into her iPhone. Just then my phone buzzed. It was a text from Niall.
"Hey the boys and I want to know if you can come hang out tomorrow, Zayn, Liam, and Lou want to introduce you guys to their girlfriends."
"Sure! Sounds great!" I texted back.
We pulled up to our flat and I paid the taxi driver. As soon as we got inside we ran to our beds and flopped down on them. It was late and we were both exhausted. Soon, we both had drifted off to sleep.

The next morning I quickly got out of bed and got dressed. I ran into Julia's room and shook her awake. "Wake up! Wake up! Wake up! We're going to hang out with One Direction!!!" I screamed at her as she groaned and rolled out of bed. ( she was NOT a morning person)
After she got ready we each grabbed a bowl of cereal and headed out the door. We climbed into a taxi and drove to the big house that the boys were staying at while they were on a break from touring.
I had to admit I was pretty psyched about spending the day with One Direction, but I was more excited about seeing Niall. I was maybe starting to like him a little...
We walked up the steps and Julia rang the doorbell.
"SUPERMAAAAAAAAN!!!!!" I heard none other than Louis scream as I heard a loud crash against the door. Louis opened the door and let us in and I saw a skateboard rolling away behind him.
"Lou! What are you doing! You don't want to break another foot do you?" I asked.
"Well, no but you can't expect me to lie around on the couch all day!" He said.
He lead us into the living room and Harry and Niall jumped up immediately.
"Sam!" Yelled Niall.
"Julia!" Yelled Harry.
Both at the same time. Julia and I greeted them and sat down next to them. I noticed 3 other girls in the room with us. I must have looked confused because just then Liam said,
"Oh, this is my girlfriend Dani, Zayns girlfriend Perrie, and Louis girlfriend Eleanor." Gesturing to the girls on the couch. We greeted them and they seemed like really nice!
"So what do you guys want to do?" Niall asked.
"Well since we don't know each other to well we could go around and ask each other questions." suggested Lou. "Sure!" We all agreed.
"Ok I'll go first." said Niall.
"Sam, where are you from?"
" I'm from Maine but me and Julia moved out here when her parents bought us a flat to live in before we start college in about a year." I replied. "ME NEXT!" shouted Harry.
"Julia, what is your favorite animal."
"Dog." she responded.
"Ok, now me." piped up Eleanor.
"Sam, out of all the songs the guys have, what one is your favorite?"
"Hmmm, I think I like Better Than Words. I especially like Niall's solo. I said smiling. I glanced over at Niall and he was slightly blushing.
"Hey! What about my solo!" yelled Louis jumping up. He began to sing his part in the worst voice ever!
"BETTER THAN WORDSSS! DRIVE YA CRAAYZAAYY!
SOMEONE LIKE YOUUUU! ALWAYS BEE MYY BAYYBAYY!"
He screeched picking up Eleanor and spinning her around as she giggled hysterically.
"Hahaha ok yes Lou I did like your solo but I'm just saying Nialls was my favorite." I laughed.
"Thanks, Sam!" Said Niall redining in the face again.
"No problem." I smiled back.
We continued asking questions for a while and I found out that I had a lot in common with all the boys. I could tell we were going to be great friends!
As it got later the others continued talking and Niall grabbed my arm and pulled me away from the group.
"Hey I want to show you something." He whispered leading me upstairs and onto a balcony off a small room.
"Isnt it beautiful!" He said gazing out over the city. "Everything gets lit up in the town at night and I think it's extremely pretty, I just had to show you."
"Yea, it's amazing," I breathed.
I suddenly looked up at him right as he turned to look at me. Our eyes met and his eyes glistened in the moonlight. They were a beautiful light blue and I swear they sparkled like diamonds. I felt heat rise up to my face and butterflies in my stomach. He picked up a strand of my hair and started twirling it around his finger. We stood there in silence just looking at each other for what seemed like eternity. But the silence was broken by a whoop of Zayn's loud laughter.
"Well I suppose we should head back downstairs now, it's getting really late." I said.
"Yea, ok." He replied sounding kind of dazed.
We walked down stairs and joined the others once more. I noticed Julia was snuggled up in Harry's arms on the couch. Well that's new.. I thought to myself.
"We should probably get going now." Julia said to me when I sat down next to her.
"Yea." I agreed.
She released herself from Harry's arms and stood up. We pulled on our jackets and hugged everyone goodbye. ( I noticed I got butterflies in my stomach when I hugged Niall). "We'll text you guys so we can hang out again!" said Liam
We got a taxi and headed home.
"So.. You and Harry huh?" I asked.
"We'll I don't know, we were sitting on the couch and he put his arm around me and we just ended up snuggling I guess. I don't think he likes me like that though." she said.
"What about you and Niall?"
"I don't know, I think I like him, I mean I do, but, he might not like me and, uggh, it's complicated...." I sputtered.
"I know how you feel." she sighed.
As soon as we got home we jumped into our beds and I fell asleep almost immediately. It had been a looong day...
