He was always quiet. His eyes always dull, and lifeless. He never laughed, never smiled. Everyone who didn't know him labled it as clinical depression, when in sad reality it was much worse then any diagnosis a doctor could give. He lived with his dad, a respectable charming man like his son, if the boy smiled or added a word to the conversation.

When his dad married my mom, I don't think any of us saw all this coming.
