CHAPTER 7: High Five To The Face
Jessica’s P.O.V
We arrived at the zoo that was filled with hundreds of people already, there was kids jumping up and down pointing at the huge animals and their weird habitat. We both climbed out the car, and joined together up on the walkway.
But instead of us walking towards the front entrance we walked away from it. “Hey the entrance is back there….” I looked back over my shoulder; everybody was too oblivious to notice us going the wrong way. “I know another way”
We rounded the building to a large silver, intimidating door that had a huge secret passage code on it. “Harry I could have paid for us…” he looked at me doubtfully as he tapped the code on to the keypad. “Sure I could have paid but why pay….when you can…” he popped the door open. Happy with his success he smiles at me “Get in for free?” he gestured his hand out, but I surely was not going to go first.
He slowly walked in, being aware of the objects around him. “Grab my hand” he extends his arm out behind him. “No” I stick my arm into my jacket. “Just do it!” “Ugghh” I give in and slip my hand into his. That wasn’t enough for Harry, so he entwines his fingers between mine. I loosen my grip but his gets tighter. “I know what you’re doing and it’s not going to work love” I roll my eyes behind him. “Stop rolling your eyes”.
We finally reach the end of this hell hole. He opens the door and the bright light shined on us, making me squint. We ease against the wall till we reach a group of people, he hurry and grab me so we fit together with the crowd like a puzzle.
What the hell was that? He wonders his eyes around the place acting like nothing just happened. “Harry? You can let go of my hand now?”
He stared at me alluringly. “No, when were in public I want people to know your mine and only mine” He grips my fingers tighter and level his mouth to my ear. “So god help me….if one guy looks at you…” He leaves the sentences unfinished and kisses my earlobe.
Once we we’re out and in the open, we could see all the different animals and habitats spread out into their own region. “So, what do you want to do love?”
He quickly untwine his fingers and slides his big hands around my hips, pushing his hard torso into my back. “Mmm I think the sharks…..”
He spins me around, easing his hand down my back to my lower hip. He compresses my body up against his. I could already see people staring at us in disgust that we were showing our affection in a family place. “I’ve never been to a zoo in my entire life” he lifts my chin softly. “But sharks are at aquariums love”.
Really?! Oh how stupid am I? I blush at my embarrassed comment. “But that was cute, real cute” He unwraps his hands slowly off around my hips and rejoin his fingers between mine. “How about we just walk, till we find something”
He smiled at me, and stared intently into my eyes. I swear I could get lost in those beautiful pupils forever. Shit! He noticed I was admiring his face, he leaned in and I could tell he was using this moment to take advantage of me. Just as his lips got close enough, I turn my head so he pecks another soft kiss on my cheek.
A soft moan escaped out his throat. “I’ve played nice…..but keep wearing these beautiful outfits and you’re going to make me steal a kiss”
I backed up out of his warm hold and started my way down a path. “Did you forget, I’ve kissed you before…..”
I turned around to face where I was going and headed toward the butterflies station. I heard Harry scurry up to walk behind me, trying to keep up with my pace. He grabbed my arm, once he realized he couldn’t catch up to me. “Now, now that was my sex kiss…..”
What? He has multiple kisses? What is he 50 shades of kisses?
“If you want I can show you a real kiss?” He bit his lip, smiling slowly; deepening his dimples.
“N-no, I’m fine” I quickly walk away, trying not to give into his sexual stare.

A tall boy that seemed to be in his twenties leaned out his hand to pass me a brochure. I grabbed it willingly, getting caught up looking at all the fascinating activities on the front. “We have over 100 species throughout our zoo”
I stared at him momentarily. Gosh he had amazing eyes too; they were vivid blue with a mixture of dark green. His face was sculpted enough to make out his long jaw line which help define his cheek bones.
“Oh, cool” “But I don’t think you wouldn’t want to go near the spiders”
I stared at him scared. “Well you know me so well, because spiders scare me”
He laughed at my expression on my face. “Well I coul--….”
“Hey Jess” Harry shoves his hand in his pocket and strolls up beside me staring at the guy then me. “Oh hey” I tried to play it off like I wasn’t mad. I could even see the disappointment in the boy’s eyes. Harry extended his arm out “Harry”
“Aaron” he flashed a smile back. Oh nice one. “So I was just telling her about the different species throughout the zoo, they’re pretty creepy” Aaron caressed the back of his neck like it was hurting.
“Well cool mate” he walked pass Aaron patting him on the shoulder, harder than he intended. “We we’re just heading over there” I innocently waved towards Aaron then hurried up to Harry, he was walking faster now. “So help me god Jessica…”
He must be really mad; he never uses my full name. “I was just talking to him”
“Bullshit love, he was flirting with you and you were flirting back”
I finally catch up to him and join beside his towering body. “Nobody ever said there was a label on us” I tried to sound convincing, it was quite true.

Harry’s P.O.V
A label on us?! Are you freaking kidding, I’ve kissed you a million times, I’ve touched you a million times how can you sit there and say that we don’t have a label.
I’m not trying to be controlling but I could feel myself slipping into my old ways, no I can’t! I can’t, I just changed.
“Are you jealous?” Her words were challenging. “Ha n-no I’m not, be jealous of him? He has nothing, I have better, he can’t even compare”
We walked pass all the colored butterflies flapping in the air landing on different objects and flowers. “Don’t you ever just think that maybe a little you’re possessive?”
I quickly stop my walking and stand there staring at her, shocked to hear that word come out her mouth again.
Something else took over me and without me thinking, I palm her right across the face. Instantly I regret what I did, she grabs her face and gasp out loud. I stand there staring at my hand then back at her I’m shocked to what I just did. No, no, no I did it, no I didn’t mean it.
I saw the glare in her eyes that where starting to fill with tears. “No Jess, I’m sorry I can explain I’m sorry…no, no” As I walked closer she took a step back. She was scared of me I could see it in the way she hid half her face behind her hand.
“I didn’t mean it, I’m sorry please” Before I could continue she backed more up, trying to put a major big space between us. “Don’t talk to me….ever again” The tears were now streaming down her face. She turned around and started booking it for the door; I ran up behind her but quickly stopped myself.
What can I do? I just laid my hands on a girl I’m probably falling for, I’m slipping into my old ways and I can’t control them anymore. The one thing that could have saved me ran away, ran away before I could even tell her the truth.
Shit! Bad as I don’t want to admit it….I need her. Now I need to think of a way to make this up to her.
