#o6 Chances
Liam
After she calms down, we settle for a movie. Alysha isn’t paying attention. I wonder what she’s thinking about. She rests her head on my shoulder and after about an hour, she falls asleep. I smile. It is really adorable. I pick her up, careful not to wake her up, and bring her to her bedroom. I take her jacket off and wrap a blanket I find on her bed around her. I strike her hair and swallow. As much as I hate to admit it, this is the perfect chance. I sneak to the kitchen and open a random drawer. It may be cliché, but it is easy. Normally, Conrad would provide me with something less notorious, but he didn’t. I’ll just hope Gwenn stays over at Harry’s place and get somebody else to clean the mess up. I shiver at that thought. I throw some water in my face. I notice I’m shaking. Why? Why me and why Alysha? I think again of her peaceful expression. I hit the wall frustrated. I have to do this, now. I pull a few other random drawers open until I find what I am looking for. “I’m sorry Alysha,” I whisper.
I go back to her room. She is still asleep. I kneel next to her. She looks like an angel. Well, she´s about to become one. Her phone rings. I curse quietly. Are you kidding me? I drop the knife, kick it under her bed and get her phone. In the meanwhile, Alysha’s hand looks for her phone on the nightstand, but it was still in her pocket. “Thanks,” she murmurs with a sleepy voice. “Why are you still here?” “Don’t you need to take that?” “No, it’s Gwenn, probably telling me she won’t come home tonight. She can app that.” Alysha throws her phone on her nightstand. “So, you’re going to leave me alone or do you want to stay?” she asks. “Well, somebody needs to keep the ghosts away,” I joke.
“Good night,” Alysha says. She turns around and she falls asleep rather quickly. My mind is running wild. There has to be some way to get out of this. I don’t know why, but I feel very attracted to her. Normally it takes a while. “Good night,” I sigh.
“Quiet,” a voice giggles. I open my eyes and see Gwenn and Harry. “Good morning,” Harry laughs. It takes me a few seconds to realize why Gwenn has this creepy smile. I have one arm wrapped around Alysha. But I like it, so I don’t let go. “Dude, privacy,” I groan. “Gwenn, what did I tell?” Gwenn laughs. “Well?” “Okay, okay, we’ll leave.” Alysha turns around. “Breakfast?” “Sounds good.” Alysha gets up, not bothering to change and goes to the kitchen.

I hug Liam. “See you soon?” he asks. “Sure.” When he and Harry finally left, I decide my room needs to be cleaned. I clean up the clothes that are, well, everywhere. I sort some papers out for work and take out the vacuum. When I’m cleaning under my bed, the vacuum is stopped by something. I frown and reach under my bed. Okay, seriously? How did a knife end up under my bed? “Lis!” Gwenn calls. I go to the living room. “Look what I found under my bed.” “You thought you could kill a spider that way?” “Funny, why did you call me?” She shows me a mail from Kate. A whole story I do not bother to read and a few links, mostly from Twitter and Facebook. I open one of them and freeze. Lots of pictures from last night, from Harry, Liam, Gwenn and me. “No!” “Relax Lis,” Gwenn says. “Don’t you get it? They’ll find us. And…” I shiver at the thought what they wanted to do with me.
