Target

A part of me really hoped that she wouldn’t call or app me, but she did. “Hello, Liam? Somebody home?” Zayn pokes me until I respond. “ What?” They dragged me to my apartment and pushed me on the couch. “ Who is she, how did you met, is she cute?” they start asking. “It’s not like that,” I say while looking at the floor. “But there is a girl?” I shrug. “Sort of.” “Sort of?” Zayn raises an eyebrow. “If you guys came over just to interrogate me, there is the door.” “Is she female?” Harry asks. “Yes.” “You like her?” “No,” I respond slowly. Even if I wanted, I couldn’t like her. Niall stole my phone. “Which one is it?” I look at the picture. “The one with brown hair.” “And the other one?” Harry asks far too interested. I smile. I know him too well. “A friend of her. Guys, can we talk about something else?” “ I am hungry,” Niall says. “Of course you are. Take care of it yourself.” In the meanwhile, Harry and Louis already had occupied my couch. I sigh and take my phone back.

I smile sadly. Of course not.

Before I could respond, Zayn stole my phone again. I sigh. I shove Louis of the couch and fall down. “Thank you.” “My house, my couch.” Zayn throws my phone back. “No need to thank me,” he adds. My eyes grow big when I read his conversation with Alysha. “What did you do?”

>> But okay, I guess you’re right.

“What?” “Never mind.” “You’re not bailing out,” Harry says. “I decide that for myself,” I snap. “Liam, come on,” they plead. “Okay, but Harry, you come with me.” “What? Why?” “Just trust me.”

We settle for a film. While we’re watching, I take my phone out.

I don’t focus on the film anymore, my mind is running wild. This was going to be more complicated than I thought.
