Target

I wake up in an unfamiliar room. Okay, what is going on? “Hello Liam,” an unfamiliar voice says. I turn around and see a young version of Conrad. Okay, this can’t be any good. “I don’t think we have met before. My name is Anthony.” Always so formal, it freaks me out. “Come, we have some business to take care of.” I follow him. We walk through an endless hall until we are in some sort of control room. My jaw drops when I see Harry, Louis, Niall and Zayn. “Liam, you’re okay!” Harry shouts. “You know what is going on?” Zayn asks. I look at them and don’t know what to say. Of course I do. “Well, tell them Liam,” Anthony says icy. “But first, I have something I’d like to show you Liam. As I said, we have some business to take care of.” He puts me in a chair and switches a screen on. My eyes grow wide. I see Alysha. She lays on a bed, her hands tied and blindfolded. I hear the guys gasp behind me. “Where is she?” “Not very far. But let’s first have a small talk. Because you have failed us Liam.” I stare at my knees. “Where is he talking about?” Louis asks. Anthony ignores him and continues. “You know she is not going to leave this place alive…” Zayn jumps up and pushes Anthony against the wall. “Listen, nobody threatens Alysha. You bring her down, right now, so we can leave this place and I swear, if you ever…” “Zayn, shut up,” I interrupt him. “Dude, he…” “I know…” I bury my face in my hands. “It is… more complicated than you think.” “Liam, what is going on?” Harry asks quietly. “You want me to tell them?” Anthony asks smiling. I don’t move. “Your dear friend here is a murderer. A coldblooded murderer.” “You’re lying,” Niall says firmly. “He is not.” It is nothing more than a whisper. “Show me where Alysha is.” That is directed at Anthony. “Follow me.”

“Here you go.” Anthony presses a knife in my hand. “Your last chance. But no pressure.” I really want to punch him. That sarcastic tone is annoying me. I walk in the room and close the door behind me. Alysha tenses when she hears the door. “Relax, it’s me.” “Liam?” She relaxes and smiles a little. I sit on the bedside, take the blindfold off and untie her hands. “Oh my god, Liam.” She hugs me and buries her face in my chest. “What is going on?” I shake my head. “I love you,” I whisper and feel a tear rolling down my cheek. "Liam? What are you talking about?" I look at her, tongue tied. Suddenly, Anthony busts through the door. “You’ve annoyed me long enough.” He pulls Alysha away from me. “Stay back,” he hisses to me. He turns to Alysha. She looks terrified. “You want to know a secret Liam? It never was about her.” His hand goes to her neck. I hear a terrible snapping sound and she falls on the floor. “No!”
