Fly Away With Me

I watch while Harry makes fun of my Titanic dream… We have only been on the flight for 2 hours and we are acting like best friends. I will say he was very attractive and real sweet. But he is just letting me fly with him to London for free and then we are going shopping for some clothes… Wow this isn't weird at all…
"Harry must you go?" He says in a girly voice acting out a my dream scene from Titanic. "Time for my coach to turn back into a pumpkin." He answers himself in his imitating 'Jack Dawson' voice.
"Shut up!" I grab a blanket the jet provides and chuck it at Harrys face.
"Hey what was that for?!" he yelled.
"For making fun of my uncontrollable dreams and my liking of Titanic!" I started to pout. Titanic is one of my favorite movies and I mean… what girl doesn't want the Titanic love feeling? Except for the… dying part, but still!
"Okay yes I'm making fun of you for the dream, but not because of liking that movie! I personally love the movie myself…" His voice got quiet toward the end of his sentence.
"You, A GUY, Likes the mushy chick flick Titanic?!" All the guys I've known in my life have either hated the movie or only liked watching it because of the boat sinking.
"…" He looked at me with a guilty face. "Yes I like it… Got a problem?" He made out a little laugh.
I nudged him as if to say 'you're too cute'. "Well if you like it so much then watch it with me!" I eyed him while picking up my laptop.
"We don't need your laptop…......... I have it on dvd…" He gave a sly smile and got up to get the dvd.


The movie finally started and I looked at the time. It was 9:20. About 10 more hours to go… I sighed.
"What's wrong?" I didn't notice Harry looking at me.
"Oh nothing… Just a little worried…" I said looking down.
"About what?" He set his hand on mine giving me butterflies. I moved my hand away quickly.
"My audition… This is my first audition for a school and it's my dream to go to this place! My heart and mind belongs to acting. And this is the one audition that if I don't make it…" I choked up a bit. "I don't know what I'll do… I spent so much on the flight I missed, I don't even have clothes, and don't even mention where I'm going to stay!" I felt my face getting hot and my breath becoming short. I felt the air in my lungs slip away as I tried to get a few words out to Harry.

Pointing to my bag I managed to make out, "Asthma, Inhaler." I clutched my chest gasping for air. As Harry runs to get my inhaler I feel the lack of life support slipping away and my eyes start getting heavy.
Next thing I feel is someone holding me trying to get me alive. Drops of water are falling on my cheeks.
"Shelby! Wake up! Don't Leave Me!" I hear him sob.. "Please Shelby!" Right then I felt so much of something. A spark inside of me. Bringing back the one thing I needed right then.

Heavy breaths and coughs escape my mouth.

"Oh my god!" Harry yelled in relief and held me in his arms.
"Harr… Harry. Ar..are you… crying?" I pushed his curly hair out of his face seeing puffy eyes and wet cheeks.
"You scared the shit out of me! I thought you were going to die!!!" It was my turn to hold him this time.
"I'm okay know. Shh it's okay." I kissed his forehead trying breathe steadily and comfort him. I haven't had an asthma attack since I was 12. I'm 18... I push my worrying thoughts aside.

"You wanna watch Titanic now?" I laughed a bit being thankful that I'm alive.
He sniffled before answering. "Yah…" He got out of my grasp and went and sat in his chair. The movie was still playing, but It was my dream scene I had with Harry. I then managed to stand up and walk over to Harry.

"May I?" I gestured to his lap. He laughed.
"You may." And for the first time I saw a pure smile on his face. I sat down on him, got comfortable and turned my attention towards the movie.
We kept laughing through the scene that I dreamt about. But the thing that stopped laughter was what Harry whispered to me the same time Jack Dawson says it.



"I've got you. I won't let go."

Notes

Second chapters are always the hardest! Have to keep the readers attentions! And I really hope I kept ya'lls attentions:) Thank you so much to all of you who have ready my first chapter! I might update another chapter tonight:D
