Catch Me, If You Can

Mary's POV
I hopped onto the counter, and grabbed a pop tart out of the toaster. Niall walked in as I took a bite. He looked at my poptart. And then at me.
"What?" I asked. "Problem with eating?" He shook his head.
"We just ate dinner, like, twenty minutes ago." He said.
"One, it was twenty-FIVE minutes ago And two, I'm always hungry." I said, taking another bite. He smiled.
"I am too. Want to eat outside?" He asked. I nodded.
"Sure. Why not?" I hopped off the counter, grabbed some food out of the fridge, and we walked outside. We sat on the steps of the back porch. And chowed down on the left over sandwiches from lunch earlier today.
"So, your planning Perrie and Zayn's wedding, huh?" I nodded.
"Yeah." He nodded. And looked forward.
"So, you'll be busy, won't you?" I nodded.
"Very." He grabbed a stick, and started drawing shapes in the dust.
"Oh." I finished my sandwich, and laid back on the porch. Niall looked at me. "You happy about the wedding?" I smiled.
"Yeah. They seem perfect for each other." Niall half laughed.
"They are." I held my self up by my hands. Niall looked at me. "Mary?"
"Hm?" I asked.
"Do you, uh...like, have a...boyfriend?" I shook my head slowly.
"No..." I trailed off. He looked away. Then looked at me.
"Just checking. Want to know if I'm gonna have to beat up some heart breakers." Laughed, still nervous from the question. He stood up. "Well, I'm gonna go inside. See if the guys have annoyed your sister yet or not." I laughed.
"See ya, Nialler." He waved. And walked inside. Perrie walked over from the side of the house, obviously eaves dropping. "What...just....happened?"
