Everything Changes

Lillian POV

The morning after the movie night I awoke to the buzzing of my phone.

From:Li
Do you want to hang out today?

To: Li
Don't you have to hang out with your girlfriend

From: Li
Nope apparently she's going to hang with Lou today.

Can't the guy take a hint?

To: Li
I am busy during the day how about tonight?

From: Li
Yay! I will pick you up at 7:30

I lean back on my bed feeling sorry for Liam. He is just too trusting. Audrey hanging out with Lou today I hope nothing happens. My mind wanders back to a sleepover we had.

*Flashback*
We were all huddled around a sleeping Audrey. She had fallen asleep first and now it was time to prank her. Jillian grabbed the feather duster and brushed it against Audreys arm. She giggles in he sleep and mumbles.
"I love you Boobear." before turning over.
We look at each other in shock holding back giggles except for Jade she just looks pissed.
*End Flashback*

I hurriedly put on some jeans and a nice blue blouse. Make up done hair done check. I put my phone in my pocket and headed downstairs to wait for Liam. At promptly 7:30 Liam pulled up in front of the house. I waltzed out of the front door and opened the passenger door. Sliding in I give Liam a hug.
"Hey Li!"
"Hey Lily! Is the park okay?"
"The park is perfect."
The drive there consisted of us blasting the radio, dancing and singing. We sounded pretty good. Liam pulled into an available parking spot and we got out of the car. I grabbed his arm and pulled him to the ice cream stand.
"Can we get ice cream please?" I said giving him the puppy eyes.
"Okay."
I get a double scooped rocky road in a cup and Liam gets chocolate in a cone. I grab my spoon and point it at him.
"En guard."
Liam's eyes go wide and he put his hands up backing away.
"I surrender, I surrender."
I laugh and take a bite. I then double over grabbing my head.
"Brain freeze!"
Liam the starts laughing uncontrollably.
"Serves you right."
I playfully glare at him.
"Not funny."
We walk through the park to our special hill. I lay down on the grass hands behind my head and look at the stars. The stars have always fascinated me. Liam lays down next to me his hands on his stomach. All of a sudden we see a shooting star.
"Make a wish." Liam says.
I close my eyes. I wish Liam would see what was right in front of him.
We then talk for a bit. Liam keeps talking about Audrey and how perfect she is. It hurts to hear him talk about that. That's why I couldn't stand it the other day when Audrey was talking about Liam. My eyes blur and tears slowly stream down my face. Liam is talking about his perfect relationship while I am lying here with a broken heart. Liam gets quiet.
"Lily are you okay?" Liam says wiping the tears from my face.
I shake my head no.
"Whats wrong."
I shake my head again.
"You can tell me." Liam says with concern all over his face.
Ugh, I cant stand this I have to do this, once. I lean in and kiss Liam. As soon as our lips meet fireworks explode in my head. His lips are soft and warm and taste like chocolate. Liam softly kisses me back probably not realizing what he was doing. He admitted it to me once that when he kissed a girl no matter who it was he would kiss back automatically because it was how his brain worked. I slowly pulled away from Liam. I stood up and ran tears streaming down my face. Looking back I could just see Liam with a shocked look on his face through my tears.
