Darkness

Harry took my arm and rushed me into the house. I was still way to confused to say anything. I was angry , sad and in pain. The moment we entered the house - it was quiet. Harry interrupted my taught "Audrey are you ok?"
I looked at him "Yeah I guess. I need to call my lawyer , make sure I am not going to thrown under the bus."
"Ok then I will get you something to drink- juice?"
"Yeah thank you , the kitchen in down the hall, to your right. Mehi, our housekeeper should be able to help you" I said.
He smiled and wandered off. I pulled out my phone and saw a missed call from Lila. I decided to call her as soon as I was done talking with the lawyers.

Robert Haz , Tommy 's father was a close friend of the family and my dad's lawyer. I had all these numbers stored for times like these. It has happened before - me calling the lawyer , going to court , facing the papers , attending society events with my parents to show the world how their arrest was trivial. Great ! I taught.

"Hello? Am I speaking to Mr.Haz?"
"Yes this is him and how am I speaking to ?" he was calm
"This is Audrey Tulane , James's daughter?" I echoed
"Ahhh of course.Nice to hear from you. How are you Audrey ? How can I help?"
"Well it's all over the news - my parents have been arrested. I wanted to know what legal action I have to take to protect myself from the proceedings."
"Right , I will get on straight away. Give me a few hours to figure out the details and call you back. On the mean time , stay safe Audrey." professional. Thank god.
"Thank you. Goodbye" I cut the call.

By this point I was frustrated and just a free falling.

I started walking towards the stairwell so I can just go up to my room, then I realized I had one more person that needed me - Lila.
I quickly dialed her number and waited as Harry approached carrying 2 glasses of orange juice in his hands.
"Hello Lila?"
"Audrey! are you ok? where are you? did you hear about your parents?" she was concerned
"Lila I am home , Harry's with me. Yeah I know. Don't worry about me I am fine. Where are you?"
"Good.I am still at Tommys' he is making me breakfast so I will meet up with you for lunch ! your place at 1 ?"
"Yeah ok talk then "
"Bye" she zoned out. she must really like Tommy.

I looked at harry - how wonderful he was. He entered my life at the perfect time and now he is standing by me. I am falling for him - his perfect body, his billion dollar smile , his dimples , his soft pink lips.
"Harry let's go up"
"what did the lawyer say?"
"He said he will look into it and call me later and Lila is coming over for lunch at 1 - will you stay with me till then?"
"Ofcourse Aud."
"Let's go to my room."

I knew thing that can ruin my family forever .... and has ruined me already. Right now I wanted to forget all about it and only focus on the one good thing in my life - Harry.
I stopped just infront of my room and turned round towards harry. He smiled "what?" and I smiled "nothing" I felt like a child. I opened my door and we were in my room. I took a sip of my juice and I placed both the glasses on the side table.
"Harry?" I pulled him in.
"Yes" he smiled as he wrapped his arms around my waist.
"Make me forget about my problems."
"I can think of a few ways"
"Really ? like what ?" I poked around
"Hmm , kiss you?" his eyes lit up.
I moved my head closer to his and our lips connected.
I was in heaven.
