Darkness

AUDREY'S POINT OF VIEW
The hot water trickled down my hands and legs. I was lost in the mist as my head got heavy from all the humidity. Tears were flowing- I couldn't stop. I didn't resist the feeling , I let myself plunge into that darkness that I usually ran from.

I poured a little bit of the soap and started rubbing the liquid around my neck and hands but I couldn't stop crying. I felt so lost again- my heart was sinking and my head was flying. I stood there naked in the shower begging god to stop the pain and rinse me of all the pain. I just stood there as the hot water boiled my blood.

HARRY'S POINT OF VIEW
I went downstairs to pick up the Chinese takeout we ordered for dinner from the reception. I couldn't stop thinking about Audrey,she was like an unfinished masterpiece..... she is a mystery... on the outside she is so cool and composed, even fierce at times when she vulnerable. I felt her pain, her trembling spirit when she found her mother's bag.

I was maybe over thinking things ? Probably it was just the exhaustion talking I taught as I thanked and tipped the doorman and made my way back to the apartment. She was so happy when she wasn't under all this pressure I taught as I walked into the master bedroom. I heard the water running so I figured she was still in there. I switched on the TV and 'Some like it hot (1959)' was playing on HBO.

A while later the water stopped running and the door gently opened, Audrey emerged in my too large for her black t-shirt. "Sorry I forgot to take my clothes in and this is all I could find in there to wear" she looked like an angel fallen. "You look so beautiful" I smirked back.
Audrey walked closer and I could see her eyes all red and her skin flushed. "What happened?" I said gently shifting my weight to give her some space on the bed and turning of the TV . She just rushed into my arms and hugged my tightly. I felt her heart race and her tears stream down my chest but all I could do was hold her when she needed it the most.

She looked up and freed her arms and traced my jawlines with her dainty fingers and whispered "I love you" and I kissed her as I held her waist.

He tongue ventured into my mouth and his hands snaked up my back and he gently moved his palms towards my face and rested his thumbs below my ears as his fingers dipped into my loose hair strands. It was like time had stopped and all the pain was gone. I pulled him closer and kissed him harder. I could feel him smile between kisses as his arms caressed me. He looked into my eye and whispered "I love you more". I felt the truth in those words, I felt him.

I reached out for his t-shirt but he rested his head in my shoulder cavity , his lush chocolate curls was tangled with my straight brown hair, "are you sure about this?" his raspy voice sent shivers down my spine. "I feel like I know you ... I've known you all my life ... like I've known you from another lifetime." I kissed his cheeks. "You make me feel thing I have never felt. You make me feel like I belong somewhere and you are that light I need" I suddenly got the feeling we were not on the same page.

He took my arms and brought to his heart "It's one thing to fall in love and another to feel someone else fall deeply and madly in love with you. Do you feel that ? That's my heart beating for you" I nodded slowly as he went on "you are everything to me" .
"Harry" holding back the tears "I've never had anyone in my life look at me the way you do...I never taught I could fall in love... or be loved...by anyone until I met you." My heart was racing , there he was my angel from heaven , the answer to my prayers , the only one I needed , the light in the darkness.

He pulled my arms to his lips and kissed them and he came closer and faced me "Me too", he repeated "me too love" his eyes were leaking the salty tears he fought to hard to hold back.
We kissed again and somehow the clock stopped ticking for a while as the night progressed into one of fiery passion , love and lust.Before I knew it we were there in each others arms naked and exposed. Gentle kisses turned into heavenly sensations , soft whispers turned into ardent moans and tender rocking turned into fervent caressing as the night sped us into the early hours of the future.

"The glory of love." I whispered as he rocked my body into the tumulus ocean of pleasure.
