Yasmin’s P.O.V:
Us girls and boys had been here for 2 weeks, we couldn’t believe it, it had gone so quickly, we all decided to go down to the beach for a day, to just relax, we each woke up bright and early that morning, looking forward to the day ahead. I woke up and looked to my clock, it said 8:35 I reached over to get my phone and saw I had a text message, I opened it up and it was from Zayn, I read it: ‘morning, if you are reading this you are the most amaZayn person in my life, you make me smile everyday when im around you, you are the person I want to spend the rest of my life with, you make me get butterflies. I love you Yasmin’ I smiled as I read it, I loved Zayn so much. I put my phone back on the bedside table, I pulled my quilts off of me and went to the bathroom, with a spring in my step, I went outside into the kitchen to get something to eat, I opened the fridge and got out a ‘Yorkie yogurt’ I grabbed a spoon and went to sit in the main room, I switched on the tv and turned it to a music channel, Katy Perry-Part Of Me, came on and I started singing along,

I was half way through the song when I heard clapping, I jumped and turned around, I saw Zayn standing there against the wall, clapping, he smiled at me, but I just starred at him.
“you never told me you could sing” he said pushing himself up from the wall, I just starred at him.
“you, you… WHY DIDN’T YOU TELL ME YOU WERE THERE?!” I shouted standing up and walking towards him, he looked at me and backed away slightly.
“woah, sorry, but cant I listen to my girlfriend sing?” he said listing his arms up, that’s only when I realised he was wearing no shirt, I converted my eyes to his chest, his toned abs were on full display, I tried to look back up to his eyes, or even anywhere but his abs, but I couldn’t, he walked over to me and I was still starring.
“shut your mouth, or you’ll catch flies” he said lifting my chin to shut my mouth, which was open. He laughed and walked past me, I ran to the kitchen and threw my empty yogurt pot in the bin, I chucked my spoon in the sink and ran back to my room. I collapsed on my bed and shoved my face in my pillow, I looked to see Amber and Annabell still asleep, it was now 8:50 and I decided to wake them. Big mistake.
“hey, guys, you need to wake up” I said shaking Annabell’s shoulder, she groaned and turned over burying her head further into her pillow.
“fine” I said standing up and walking away, I went to get changed, I was wearing high waisted shorts that were light brown, and a white tee with a eagle on the front, I went out of the bathroom and saw Amber and Annabell still sleeping, I sighed and went to brush my teeth, I straightened my hair and they were still sleeping, I was bored and wanted a little fun, I went into the kitchen and got a saucepan our of the cupboard, I got a wooden spoon and went back into my room.
“this should work” I said quietly. I banged the wooden spoon against the bottom of the saucepan and Amber literally fell out of her bed, Annabell shot up and saw me, I smiled and carried on making noise, she turned to me and walked over, she took the wooden spoon out of my hand and lightly hit me on the head with it.
“we’re up” she said before storming off and back into the kitchen. I looked to Amber who was trying to get up off the floor, wow, these two are really not morning people.
“why are you dressed already?” Amber asked standing up and throwing the blankets, pillows, and quilt onto her bed.
“because, we are all going down to the beach for the day” I said walking over and helping her make her bed.
“oh, okay” she said a little more enthusiastically than before, she jogged off to the bathroom to brush her teeth, she came out and rummaged through her wardrobe, she picked out some clothes and ran back to the bathroom. I sat down on my bed and got two little bunches, I put my hair into lose side pony tails, and let my fringe fall over my face. I got my phone and flicked through my apps, I pressed on twitter as I hadn’t been on it for ages, I had gained 1000+ followers, wow, people already knew who I was. I had quite a lot of mentions and I scrolled through them all, I saw some really nice ones, like ’hope you and Zayn are happy’ and ’so jel of you, and you are so pretty’ I smiled as I was happy that people liked me, but then I saw the horrible ones, ’stay away from Zayn.’ ’get away from him, your not even pretty’ I gulped as I read some of the things they had been saying, I felt a tear fall down my face and I decided to check the other girls twitters, like me, they had all gained 1000+ followers, I looked at their mentions and they were roughly the same as mine, why were people so horrible, its not my fault Zayn loves me and not them, I mean, he loves them as fans, but I guess nothing else. I wiped the tear away that had rolled down my face as Amber came out of the bathroom, I put my phone away and looked at her, she was wearing jean type shorts and a black vest top and a checkered shirt used as a over throw, I smiled at her as she narrowed her eyes at me, oh god, she knew something was up.
“what happened?” she said coming to sit next to me, I looked at her as she sat down.
“nothing” I said smiling, I knew she knew I was lying though, I smiled and stood up.
“I aint stupid, I have known you all my life, I know when somethings wrong with you Yas” she said putting her hands on her hips and raising her eyebrows at me.
“fine…” I sighed as I sat back down on the bed, “have you checked your twitter lately?” I asked looking into her eyes, she shock her head and looked at me.
“we have loads of followers, people quite like us…. But some people don’t, we have all been getting threats” I said looking down at my hands.
“Yas, everyone is gunna have people that don’t like them, its just this time we know about it” she said putting her arm around me, I knew she was right though, so I wasn’t going to let it bother me.
“Okay” I replied looking up at her.
“come on, lets go see the others” she said standing up and smiling at me, I followed her out of the room and went into the main room, everyone was sitting there watching tv, no one else was dressed.
“Guys, why arent you dressed” I said walking to sit next to Zayn. They all looked at me for a reason to get changed. I sighed “we are going to the beach today” I said sitting down on Zayn’s knee.
“Ohhhh” they all said in unison.
“well…. Go and get ready then” I said standing up to let Zayn up, they all went to each of their rooms to get changed while me and Amber were sitting down. They each came back and sat down joining us. Of course the girls would come back first as the boys have to have 1 hour and a half to get ready. Each the girls came back one by one, Annabell was first, she was wearing grey ¾ lengths with a brown tee with a picture of the Eiffel tower on it with roses, next was Sophie, she was wearing jean type high waisted shorts with a cream tee with ruffles at the bottom, Nikky was last our us girls, she was wearing dark purple shorts with a brown/cream tee, saying ‘Gotta Be You’ on it, she bought this because of one direction, but it didn’t have anything else on it, like nothing to do with one direction, it was out before they even became popular. The boys all came down, all wearing chinos, Louis was wearing a stripe tee, Harry was wearing a Jack Wills one, Zayn was wearing a ‘Converse’ tee, Liam a checkered one and Niall was wearing a red polo.
**3 hours later**
We were all splashing each other with water, after Louis had shouted WATER FIGHT! We had been here for quite a long time, but it was good, it was a nice hot day, not too hot, but just right. We were all getting pretty hungry, I am surprised Niall hasn’t complained yet. After Niall complained we went back to the sand and had our picnic, we had extra food, as Niall would probably eat all of it himself, we all tucked in and after we finished the boys all went back in the water. Us girls thought we would sun bathe for some time, we all sat down on our towels and put our sunglasses on, Nikky and Annabell were reading magazines, Amber was listening to music and still eating the left over food, while me and Sophie fell asleep. I was drifting in and out of sleep so I could hear some things, I heard Annabell and Amber go into the water with the boys, I heard them both screaming, I heard Nikky get up and go in the water too, I was partly awake, I was still tired though, I turned to Sophie who was listening to her Ipod, I knew she was still awake as she was tapping along to the tune on the sand, I lent back on the sand and fell asleep.

**Some time later**
“you ready” I heard someone say near to me, they whispered it but I didn’t take any notice, I could hear things and people around me, but I was still asleep.
I was scrabbling everywhere, I couldn’t breathe, I tried to breathe but I couldn’t, I tried to get to the surface, I thought I was in a dream, I needed to get to the top of the water, I was in the sea, I opened my eyes as the water stung my eyes, I was pushing my way through the water as I tried to find the top, I saw something in front of me, I didn’t know what it was, I didn’t really care, I just needed to breathe, I felt my lungs beginning to close up, if I didn’t breathe soon I was pretty sure I would choke or drown, I forced myself to think it was a dream, and if it was it was a very very very realistic one. I felt someone grab my arm as they pulled me up, I felt the cold air blow my hair as I took the biggest breath ever, I choked out some water that had found its way inside my mouth, I couldn’t stand up and my eyes were still stinging, I opened them to try and see where abouts I was, but every time I tried to open them I had to squeeze them shut, I was coughing everywhere, and I couldn’t stand up, I was trying to stand up and find the bottom of the sea, the sand was no where near my feet, I was kicking my feet trying to stay afloat, I felt someone grab me by the waist, I still couldn’t see, I stopped coughing after I had almost coughed my guts out, I heard someone else coughing near by me, I rubbed my eyes with the back of my hand as I tried to open them again, this time I could open them but it was all blury, I could make out some shapes but not know what they were, they all just looked like blobs to me.
“Oh My God, Yas” I heard someone shout between coughs, I hear a splashing of water, and then felt some water being flicked up onto me, I could see someone coming towards me, the hands were still on my waist, thank god, or I would probably have collapsed. “Yas, are you okay?” I heard the voice say, my eyes were full of water so I couldn’t tell who was speaking. I tipped my head to the side and hit the other side, trying to get the water out, I tilted my head to the other side and hit the other side, the water was out of both ears now, I had stopped coughing so now I had to try and see. The person kept talking to me but I couldn’t care less at the minute, I had to be able to see. I kept rubbing my eyes and then opening them and blinking, my vision was coming back, I could make out what things were, I kept rubbing my eyes but after I while I stopped as it would just take time to come back. I finally blinked a couple of times to take in the things around me, Sophie was the one talking to me, Zayn was the one holding me up out of the warm water below me, I looked at Sophie and then at Zayn.
“what did you do exactly?” I asked Zayn looking at him and still blinking as it wasn’t crystal clear.
“babe, im so sorry, I had no idea” he said hugging me, my arms got crushed against his bare chest as I pushed away.
“had no idea what?” I asked looking at him confused.
“that you couldn’t swim” he said looking down at the water.
“I can swim” I said raising my voice, he looked at me and raising his eyebrows at me.
“then why were you struggling to get up to the surface?” he asked shaking his head slightly.
“because… I don’t know actually” I said looking at the rest of the girls and boys, who were standing around us. “what did you actually do?” I asked still not pleased that I was out in the sea. The boys all looked at each other and Zayn looked down at the water.
“we brought you and Sophie out here while you were asleep, and we, urm, threw you in” Lou said looking down. I raised my eyebrows at him.
“and you thought that would be funny” I said moving my arms causing water to splash everywhere.
“well, it seemed funny at the time” Zayn said looking at me.
“alright, so I know why I almost drowned…because I was still asleep and you threw me in while I was asleep” I said splashing down on the surface of the water. Zayn moved his head away causing me to fall back slightly. He moved forward again and caught my back, I looked him in the eyes as swatted his hand away, he let go of me and I was floating in the water, I could swim, its just not then.
“you can swim” Harry said looking at me, I smiled in response and began to swim around in a circle.
“yes I can” I said once I finished my routine.
“then why didn’t you?” Zayn asked me holding his arm were I hit him.
“because I was in shock and I didn’t expect to be dropped in the water while sleeping” I said looking at the girls. “wait, you said you dropped Sophie in aswell” I said looking at Sophie.
“Yeah” Louis said looking down as he felt guilty.
“im okay though” Sophie said moving closer to Louis. He smiled as she said she was okay.
“but I heard someone coughing” I said putting my hands on my hips.
“yeah, that was me, but only a little” Sophie said putting her arms around Louis’ chest and hugging him, he put his arms around her waist as he rested his head on her head.
“oh okay” I said before looking at the rest of the girls. “im gunna go back to shore, I need to lay down” I said putting my hand to my head.
“okay, urm, see you soon” Zayn said hugging me around the waist I smiled up at him as I hugged back.
“I’ll come with you, someone woke me from my sleep” Sophie said looking to Louis who smiled but then looked upset at what he had done, we both began to swim away.
“oh, before I forget, whos idea was it?” I asked turning back around to face the others, they all looked at each other.
“mine” 3 people said in unsion, I looked at the 3 people who had said ‘mine’ they were Louis, , typical, Zayn and Annabell, I laughed, they all looked at me and Annabell looked at me like she was about to burst into tears.
“I like your sense of humour, only because I would have done the same thing” I said before turning around and swimming back to shore with Sophie, I heard everyone giggle before starting to splash each other again.
Once me and Sophie were back on our towels we decided to get our own back, we took Louis’, Harry’s, Zayn’s, Niall’s, Liam’s and Annabell’s clothes and ran half way across the beach to hide them in a little cave, it had no water in so we decided to go with that. We laughed as we walked all the way back to where we were laying, we got back to see everyone walking along the sea edge, me and Sophie sprinted and skidded onto our towels, we acted all natural like nothing was going on. After another hour of talking we all started to walk back to the hotel.
“wait, oh god, I left all my clothes and everything back at the beach” Louis said turning on his heels, we all laughed.
“oh god, me too” all the boys and Annabell said in unison, they all looked at each other and me and Sophie had to bite our tongues to try and make ourselves not to burst our laughing. They all looked at us as they ran back to the beach. After they were out of sight me and Sophie burst out laughing, Nikky and Amber looked at us with confused expressions.
“we kinda hid there stuff in a rocky cave half way across the beach” Sophie explained, Nikky and Amber were soon laughing along with us, we decided to walk back to the beach, pretending to ‘see where they had got to’.
“over here maybe” we heard Annabell shout.
“I’ll check over hear” Liam shouted running the opposite way to Annabell.
“I’ll go with Annabell” Niall said running after Annabell.
“Harry come this way with me, we’ll look over here” Louis shouted to Harry as they were running towards us. They noticed us and Louis broke into a sprint. “guys, our stuff has gone, and the tide if coming in, we wont have long to look around” Louis said, after he sped away me and Sophie looked at each other.
“the tide is coming in, we need to get them now” Sophie said beginning to run down the beach, I followed and Nikky and Amber were keeping everyone else busy, so they wouldn’t know it was me and Sophie who hid them.
“guys, urm, I think Lou found them” I said as we ran past Niall and Annabell.
“then why are you going that way?” Annabell shouted as we continued to go down the beach.
“evening jog” Sophie shouted back, she turned around and shrugged her shoulders, I just shock my head and laughed. We continued to run down the beach, we were almost at the cave and the tide was really close, it kept coming up to us and sometimes the water brushed past my feet. I carried on running. Once we got to the cave we grabbed the bags, I grabbed 2 and Sophie grabbed 3, I turned around ready to run back.
“WAIT!” Sophie shouted after me, I stopped and spun around.
“what?” I asked looking at her.
“there was one more bag, I have Louis’, Liam’s and Annabell’s” she said holding up the three bags.
“I have Harry’s and Niall’s” I said holding up the bags, oh no, where was Zayn’s me and Sophie must of both thought the same thing at the same time as we both were looking around for any sign of a bag.
“where is it?” Sophie shouted spinning around.
“oh god” I said as I noticed a rucksack on the sand, the tide was coming in and it would be gone if we didn’t hurry. We both sprinting at full speed towards the bag as I noticed a massive wave coming in, I ran faster, I had to get that bag. I dropped the bags I had and continued to run, Sophie also dropped her bags and we were both running at full speed. I was so close to the bag, I reached out and grabbed the bag, someone else garbbed the bag at the same time, it was Sophie, we stood there, holding onto it, Sophie let go and I hugged the bag, thank god we got it in time, other wise that….
“AAAAAHHHHH” I heard Sophie scream, we had just been covered in water, by that massive wave. We both stood there drenched, it had gone right over our heads and collapsed on top of us. I looked at Sophie who was standing there with her mouth open, her hair was dripping down the side of her, her clothes were soaked, I felt my hair dripping down my back, my face was just soaked and I felt my mascara running, my legs were drenched and I couldn’t believe it, I was still hugging the rucksack, I looked down and it was not as soaking as me, I dropped the bag on the sand and bent down to open it, I looked inside and the stuff inside was as dry as anything, it was the most dry thing on earth, I looked down on it.
“great, I am soaked and this thing isn’t” I said standing up and closing the zip.
“come on, lets just go back” Sophie said walking to get the other bags. We walked back to the others still soaked, they all came running over to us and Louis grabbed his bag right out of Sophie’s hands. She threw the other bags on the ground and began to walk back to the hotel, I did the same and followed Sophie up towards the hotel.
“hey” where are you going?” I heard Louis shout. Sophie didn’t turn around she just kept walking. “Sophie!” Louis shouted running past me and grabbing Sophie’s hand, she turned around to face him. “why are you so wet?” Lou asked stepping back.
“oh, we went for a little swim in the sea, fully clothed, ya know, as you do” she said sarcastically.
“wh-” Lou started but couldn’t finish.
“we went to see if we could find your stupid bags, we found all of your apart from Zayn’s and it was right next to the sea, there was a massive wave, we ran to get it, got it, but the wave came over the top of us, and well, you can work out the rest” Sophie said beginning to walk away.
“Woah” he said before looking at me and laughing.
“just don’t Louis, we’re not in the mood” I said walking past him, he stopped laughing and followed in silence. We got back to the hotel and me and Sophie went to shower and get changed. we came back and got dinner. Well this was a good day, apart from my clothes getting ruined.
