Apologies
Harry POV
I watch Louis talk to Vivy on the phone. He's panic stricken and shouting into the phone. A look of relief washes over his face, but then he goes white again.
"Oh shit. I'm coming over," he says and apparently doesn't like the response Vivy gives him.
"But I can't have her mad at me," he pleads. Whatever Vivy says calms him down, but he still looks very upset when he ends the call.
"Oh Harry, I totally fucked up with Sky!" he cries out as puts his head in his hands. I walk over to him and wrap an arm around his shoulders.
"Lou, you're a good guy. I can't believe you did anything that bad to Sky. You've been trying so hard to do things right about asking her out and it's obvious you are both crazy about each other."
"Well, Vivy said that we didn't have sex. I was terrified that we had. I mean how in the hell could I not remember THAT if it happened?"
"Did she tell you what you did do?"
"Yes, I guess I kept harassing her and asking her to be mine."
"What's so bad about that?"
"Apparently when she kept telling me to ask her when I was sober I made a point of telling her I wouldn't forget a memory that involved her."
"Ohhhhhh."
"Yeah, so she said yes and I kissed her and gave her a hickey."
"Shit Lou! What were you thinking?!"
"I obviously wasn't because I don't remember any of it!!! How did I fuck up so badly?? I got everything I've wanted and ruined it without knowing it!!"
"But Lou, think about it. She said yes to you! She likes you too mate. It's not like you woke up and said she was some big mistake. You both want to be together. It's going to be okay."
"You really think so Haz?"
"I know so! So, why don't you go over and talk things through with her right now?"
"Viv said I need to give Sky the weekend to calm down. I don't know if I can wait that long. I need her to know how I feel, that I meant everything even though I was drunk, and how sorry I am for hurting her."
"Okay, let Viv calm her down and then you two can fix this." Louis gives me a weak smile.
"On the bright side Lou at least she isn't mad about the way you danced with her last night."
"WHAT??!! What the hell are you taking about??!!"
"Lou, at the party you dragged her to the dance floor, pinned her to you, and proceeded to grind and grope all over her."
"I HATE MY LIFE!!!! What is wrong with me?? Did I seriously have no self control with her last night? I'm amazed I didn't force myself on her. Oh fuck! Who's to say I didn't try?! Now I'm really scared!"
"Relax Lou, you are no rapist. Anything you said or did were things you were too nervous to do sober last night. You'd never hurt her. But will you PLEASE listen to me next time when I say talk to her and don't drink?"
"Yes. Thanks for being here for me Haz. I'm gonna try to catch a nap so I don't have to think about this for awhile." I watch him walk to his bed and crawl in. Poor guy.
**Three Hours Later**
Louis POV
"Lou! Wake up mate! Sky wants to talk to you in her dorm. Now!" I fly straight out of bed from a dead sleep knocking Harry over as he was trying to shake me awake.
"What?? Are you sure??"
"Yes! Vivy just sent me a text that you are to go there now!"
"I can't!"
"Why not Lou?!"
"I'm a afraid!!" I pull a terrified looking face and Harry looks at me like I grew a second head.
"Of what?" He looks at me with disbelief.
"That she'll break up with me?"
"No offense Lou, but I think being drunk invalidated your relationship so there is nothing to break up."
"Ohhhhh, yeah," he says sadly.
"So now is your chance to do things right and make her yours!"
"You're right! If she said yes once, hopefully she'll say yes again. I need to hurry and I need to make this special. Can I see your phone? I need to text Viv something."
"Sure Lou. Here 'ya go."
This is short notice, but I want to try to make this apology and asking Sky to be mine - again - as special as possible. So, I need some intel.
**30 Minutes Later at Sky's Dorm**
"Thanks Haz for coming with me."
"Happy to help. I'll take Viv out for some coffee while you two talk. Put a sock on the door if we shouldn't interrupt later," he winks and elbows me.
"Wow. You really have a low opinion of me. Hurtful. I promise you I will be staying out of her bed today as I am in control of myself thank you very much. She's probably gonna throw me out again anyhow."
"No, she's not. Not after what you have planned. Positive thinking mate and quick because here she comes."
I think I just gulped audibly.
Skylar POV
Oh my God! Viv really did send Harry that text because there is Lou standing in front of my door. I have a million emotions running through me right now. I want to be mad at Louis because I am hurt and embarrassed, but here he is wanting to talk to me. Shit! What if he is going to tell me we were a big mistake. I'm going to be a laughing stock at this school. All I can do is stare at Louis. He looks like he's going to be sick, probably hungover. Serves him right the ass!
"Hello ladies," Harry speaks up. Louis stands there saying nothing. Ugh.
"Viv, would you like to grab a cup of coffee with me while we let the lovebirds talk in private?" Louis and I both shoot Harry death glares and I'd laugh under different circumstances.
"Love to Harry. Let's go. You two behave yourselves," I should hit her for winking. They are both just so cheeky.
"Um, would you like to come in Louis?"
"You won't call security on me?"
"Lou, not in the mood. If you want to have a serious talk, fine but cut the bullshit jokes."
"I'm really sorry, I'm just nervous."
"You should be," I say and walk into the room leaving him in the hall to follow me in.
He enters my room awkwardly hiding something behind his back. Then, he gets down on one knee in front of me pulling out a bouquet of flowers and a guitar.
"What are you doing Louis?" I look at him as if he's gone mad.
"Starting a very long apology."
Louis POV
Okay, it's all or nothing. I've never worked so hard for anything in my life and I pray she accepts my apology and agrees to be mine. Thankfully, Viv text me Skylar's favorite flowers and favorite ballad. Here I go...
"Skylar, Harry and Vivy filled in the blanks for me of what I did. There is no apology great enough to explain how sorry I am. I behaved horribly, but I know that I had to mean everything I said and did because they were the things I wanted to say and do since I met you. It was the truth this morning when I told you I drank because I was so nervous. All I ended up doing was screwing everything up. Just please give me a chance to let me explain how I feel about you."
After she thinks for what feels like way too long, she simply nods in approval. I let out the breath I was holding and I smile.
"These are for you love," I say as I hand her the bouquet of stargazer lillies and her eyes open wide.
"Louis, how did you know these are my favorite flowers?" She asked, astonished.
"I took the time to find out because you matter to me."
"Thank you," she says in a voice barely above a whisper.
"Can I tell you how I feel about you?" I ask and I'm terrified she is going to say no.
"Yes."
I begin strumming my guitar and take a deep breath before I start singing...

When I finish, Skylar is just staring at me. Oh please say something! She's not giving anything away in her expression. Please tell me I did screws up again!
Skylar POV
I don't know what to say. I am frozen and speechless. Do I throw myself in his arms? Oh hell no not after last night. Do I wait for him to say something? My heart is about to explode. That was so romantic. How can I stay mad after that? He apologized. Really apologized. Who knew this tattooed sassy pants could be that romantic...and sing like that? I know he is sorry and he really wants to be with me. Why have I gone mute?
"Louis, I don't know what to do," literally and physically I don't know what to do except want to be with him.
"Please Sky! Please give me a chance. I really do want you to be mine more than anything." Oh shit, he thinks I am denying him. Okay, man up Sky and take action.
I lean down and pull Louis up by his shoulders. He looks like he's terrified I'll throw him out. I stare at him and finally my brain connects with the rest of my body.
"Yes," I say and then crash my lips into his.
I feel him smile into the kiss and wrap his arms around me. I run my hands through his hair and he moans. In a bold move, I thrust my tongue into his mouth and I can feel the shock run through his body. After a few minutes, we pull away, breathless, and just smile as we look into each other's eyes. Finally, Louis breaks our trance...
"Thank you."
"For what?" I ask laughing at him and he frowns. So cute.
"For forgiving me and agreeing to be mine," I can feel the blush creep across my cheeks.
"Well, I'm still not happy about the hickey because now I have to wait to see my family until it's gone. My brothers would kill you if they saw it. But, how can I refuse this face?" I say as I pinch his cheeks and he laughs.
"Even if you are tone deaf," I mutter as I walk away from him.
"Hey! Hurtful!!!" Louis screams, tackles me on my bed, and begins tickling me.
"Take it back!"
"Never!"
"Take it back!"
"Nope!"
"Okay, you asked for it!" He leans down and starts kissing my neck. This is not a fair fight.
"Stop Louis."
"No," he moans against my sensitive skin.
"Lou... Ahhhh..."
"Yes?" I feel his teeth clamp down on my sweet spot.
"It--it--was--Oh God--looovely--ahhh."
"I know!" He jumps off me with a smile on his face looking like he won the lottery. Infuriating man!
"You tease. You are going..." a pinging from my laptop interrupts me.
"What's that?" He asks as I grab the laptop.
"Oh my mom is Skyping me! Now behave yourself Lou!"
"Yes m'aam," he salutes me.
I don't know if I'm ready for my mom to meet my boyfriend of a whole 10 minutes yet...
