Louis POV

As I escort Skylar into the car, I cannot keep my eyes or hands off her. She looks too beautiful and sexy in her little black dress and pumps. Seeing her like this, I almost regret my decision to go on a double date with Zayn and Perrie. I’d like to keep Skylar all to myself, but there will be “us” time later. "So, what are we doing tonight?" Skylar asks. I compose myself to answer her and clear my throat shaking off my impure thoughts.

"Party on the other side of town. Plus, after we drop Zayn and Perrie off, I have plans." I smirk as I see Zayn take the bag from Perrie’s hands and place it in the boot of my car. Zayn gives me a wink and Perrie giggles causing Skylar to turn and look at her.

“What’s so funny?” She turns back and forth looking between me, Zayn, and Perrie.

“Nothing love,” I say and peck her lips. She pulls back and eyes me suspiciously, but I give nothing away and just smile brightly at her.

“Hmmmm. I don’t know about you three,” she raises her eyebrows and looks questioningly at us again and laughs.

“Just happy to have a couples’ night out!” Zayn to the rescue.

“Well, let’s do this thing!” Perrie cheers and Zayn helps her into the backseat.

“Shotgun love or do you want to sit in back with Perrie?” I ask.

“Hold your hand or chat with Perrie? Decisions, decisions—,“ I cut her off and pull her into me making her gasp.

“Hey, hurtful,” I pout, “I thought you loved me.”

“I do. Very much. Why don’t we let Zayn decide,” we look at him for an answer.

“Hey, sitting in the back seat and smooching my girl is a no brainer,” Zayn says with a chuckle and climbs in behind Perrie.

“Keep it clean you two!” I yell, maybe a little too loud because Skylar looks like her ears hurt. “Oh was I too loud Sky?”

“Just a little,” she fakes irritation and sticks her fingers in her ears.

“Forgive me?” I pull her against me again and look into her eyes for permission to kiss her.

“Of course Lou,” she closes the distance between our lips and kisses me passionately. We are interrupted a few moments later.

“Hey! You two need to keep it PG! There is time for that later – away from my eyes!” Perrie shouts and laughs hysterically.

“Yeah, yeah,” I dismiss her and help Skylar into the car.

About a half hour later, we arrive at the party. I was looking forward to bringing Skylar here because we'd be away from the usual group of just the guys. She's wonderful and, if anything, I'm not good enough for her. I still wonder why she ever gave me a chance and I'm grateful every day for it.

"Babe, they are going to love you just like I do. My friends are chill. Relax." I gave her a reassuring hug and kiss when the door is opened.

"Jeez Tommo! Zayn wasn't lying. You really can't keep your hands off her!" I hear my best friend mock me and burst into laughter.

"Stan! Hey mate! Yes, Zayn speaks the truth," I smirk and then give him a bro hug.

"Stan, I'd like you to meet my lovely girlfriend, Skylar," I say proudly as I present Skylar to him.

"Nice to meet you Skylar. I'm glad to see you in the flesh because all I hear is ‘Skylar this and Skylar that’ when I talk to Lou." I notice Skylar is blushing.

"True. I'm not gonna try to even deny it," I say proudly and wrap my arm around her waist.

"Nice to meet you Stan," Skylar extends a hand to Stan and instead he grabs her from me and engulfs her into a hug spinning her around and they both laugh.

"Handshake my arse Sky! You're like family!!" Stan swings her around again and Skylar looks happy and relaxed at his welcome.

"Come on in and meet everyone else," he put his arm around Skylar and walks her into the house screaming at everyone to announce her arrival while he leaves the three of us on the porch. I look at Zayn and Perrie and we laugh.

"Well, that was different. I think I am jealous," Perrie jokes.

"Sorry babe. Looks like Stan's new favorite girl is Sky. You've been replaced," Zayn jokes and puts his arm around her as he starts walking towards the front door with Perrie.

"Let's go in and rescue my girl from Stan before he scars her for life," I joke.

"Yes, we need her in one piece for your surprise tonight," Perrie says and winks.

"Are you two going to let me in on what you planned for Sky?" Zayn asks a little frustration noted in his voice.

"NO!" Perrie and I shout together and laugh.

"Ughh you two! C'mon. Let's go in," I follow Zayn and Perrie into the house.

Skylar POV
Stan walks me into the lounge and I see a girl sitting on the couch and two other couples. One couple is unknown to me, but I audibly gasp when I see the other couple.

“Vivy! What are you doing here?” She looks nervous when she sees me and rushes over to talk to me.

“Surprise?” She says nervously and hugs me.

“Vivy, does Harry know you are here?”

“Um no. Liam and I wanted to go out and not risk Harry running into us,” she says sheepishly.

“I can’t believe you are cheating on Harry with his best mate,” I whisper yell to not draw attention to our conversation.

“We’re not a couple and Liam is so sweet and kind,” she gushes.

“Just don’t come between the guys. You and Liam need to come clean if you are going to be together. Now, Louis, Perrie, Zayn, and I all have to keep this secret,” I scold.

“I’m sorry Sky, but it really will be fine,” Vivy hugs me.

“Okay enough you two!” Stan shouts, “Sky has new people to meet!” Stan grabs my elbow and pulls me into the room to introduce me to his girlfriend, Kylie, and the other couple – Mike and Lena. Suddenly, I hear raised voices behind me.

“Liam?!” Zayn and Louis yell clearly surprised he is here with Vivy too.

“Hey guys. I thought Stan mentioned we were coming,” Liam says shyly while scratching the back of his neck.

“Uh no. Does Harry know you are here with Vivy? This is a couples’ night you know mater,” Louis says.

“Oh mate, not cool,” Zayn says shaking his head. Then, the three boys whisper amongst each other and I can’t hear a word. When they pull away, they are all smiling so I assume Liam told them something that pacified them.

“Why so serious all? Let’s not ruin the evening!” Stan says.

“Sounds like a plan to me Stan!” I am not in the mood to bring down the evening with Vivy and Liam’s stunt and make a bad impression on Louis’ friends.

“Louis, I gotta say, I love your girl!” Stan says as he claps his hand on my shoulder. Suddenly, Louis pulls me away.

“Mine!” he yells sounding and looking like a three year old and we all laugh. Leave it to Louis to break the tension in the room.

*Three Hours Later**

Louis POV

"No Stan! She's not yours! You can't have her! Give her back!" Stan and I are pulling at Skylar like she's a rag doll, but I win and she falls into me. I wrap my arms protectively around Skylar and shout, "Mine!"

"Louis! You two can't leave now! We're having so much fun with SkySky!" Stan pouts.

"Stan! What did I say about people calling me SkySky?" She tries to scold him and fails miserably.

"You are as sassy as the sassmaster. You two definitely are made for each other," Stan scoffs.

"Told you we're perfect for each other mate," I wrap my arms around Skylar and kiss her cheek.

"Who are you and what have you done with my Boobear?" Stan just had to go there.

"I am a changed man," I say proudly.

"Thank God! Sky you are my new favorite person. I'm really happy for you two," Stan says with a big smile on his face and I can’t help but smile even bigger.

"Thanks Stan. I had a lovely time. Thank you for having me," Skylar gives Stan a hug. Stan looks over her shoulder to me with a huge smile and winks and I see his genuine approval of my girlfriend.

"Can't wait to hang out again Sky. Lou, don't hog her to yourself. Stop on by next weekend and we'll cookout," Kylie says as she wraps her arms around Stan’s waist from behind.

"Thanks. We will," I give Stan a handshake and Kylie a quick hug. Zayn and Perrie say goodbye to Stan and Kylie and we head towards my car.

A half hour later, we are dropping Zayn and Perrie off at her place. "Night you two. Have fun!” Perrie winks and climbs out of my car.

“Night Sky, Lou,” Zayn says and they walk off. I turn towards Skylar

“So, now that I have you all to myself Sky, I have a surprise for you.”

“Really? What is it?” Her eyes light up like a little kid’s on Christmas morning.

“You’ll have to wait until we get there.”

“Louis, where are we going at this time of night? It’s almost 11:00,” I watch as she sits there deep in thought trying to figure it out.

**A Little Over an Hour Later**

About 15 minutes into the drive, Skylar fell asleep and I was grateful to be alone with my thoughts. I am so nervous. I want everything to be perfect. What if she hates the surprise?
