Unable

Just as I finish packing everything up, my parents, older and little brothers come into the room. I have six brothers and no sisters. My family in order (besides my mom and dad) is Jeremy (25 years old), Curt (23), me (19), Benjamin (16), James (12), Matthew (6), Max (2), and soon to be baby, unknown if it's a girl or boy. Before anyone could take a breath, Max and Matthew come running up to me, one on each leg. I giggle, picking Max up and taking Matthew's hand.
"Are we going to the airport or what?" I ask.
"Sissy, when we gonna see you again?" Max asks before my parents could answer my question.
"Well, it'll be awhile, but I'll come back for the holidays." I start to choke up, realizing how long I'll be gone.
"Oh, how far away is that?" Matthew asks.
"It'll be in 3 months just about, but maybe, if I have a cool roommate, you could come and visit." I say trying to cheer them up.
"Come on Skyler, we need to go." my mom says.
"Okay, come on you guys." I say leading my little brothers downstairs as Jeremy and Curt get the last of my things.
We get in the 12 seater car and pull away. About an hour later, we get to the airport. I watch as couples kiss and hug. I want to be able to do that someday. I turn to my dad first. I hug him goodbye. Then my mom. I actually got all my brothers to hug me. I finally get to Max and Matthew. Max and Matthew have always been attached to me. I've never gone more than 20 minutes without them being there. Me leaving is going to take a toll on those two, and myself. As I finish my group hug with Max and Matthew, I hear the lady over the inter-calm.
"Now bording all zones, bording all zones."
I start to tear up as do my mom, Max, and Matthew. I take my rolling suitcase (the only one I have with me) and walk away. I give the lady my ticket and get on the plane. I wait until the plane takes off to put in my ear buds to listen to music.
-----After Flight-----
I walk over and get a roller luggage carrier. When I see something that's mine, I put it on the carrier. I roll it outside and wave for a taxi. It pulls up beside me and he helps me put my stuff in the trunk. I get in as does he and he starts the car. I tell him to take me to the college, so he starts to go in the direction needed.
I get my stuff out of the car and put it on a roller carrier that was brought for me. They show me to my dorm. As I walk inside, there's already a girl there.
"HI! I'm Veronica, but you van call me Viv or Vivy." She says.
"My name is Skyler, or Sky for short." I say putting my hand out.
Instead of shaking my hand, she hugs me.
"Is it okay that I have a boyfriend over sometimes?" She asks.
"Sure, just no stripping or make out sessions in front of me." I say with a terrified face.
"Agreed." she laughs.
About half an hour later, I finish unpacking. I lay down on my bed tired. Just as I did, there was a knock.
"I'll get it." I say.
When I open the door, there was a guy with black hair staring down at me. I turned to look at Vivy.
"Is this your boy toy?" I ask.
"Yeah, that's Aaron. Sorry, I wasn't expecting him this early. If I don't see you later, I'll see you tomorrow at lunch."
"It's okay and okay." I say.
Vivy and him left, so I turned on my TV. It just so happens that Doctor Who was on. I fall asleep watching the show.

I wake up to hear the British accents accompanying the show. I look at the clock to find out it's 5:00 am. I crawl out of bed unwillingly. I get dressed and grab my backpack, heading off to algebra.
I sit down and put my bag beside my feet.
"Hey babe. I'm Louis." I hear from beside me as I take out my necessities for this class.
"Hi, I'm Skyler, Sky for short. Nice meeting you, but I think I need to listen at the moment." I say trying to concentrate.
"Not really, he's just going to talk about shit. Nothing really important." He says looking at me from head to toe, "Want to go to a party tonight? My friends are hosting."
"I'll think about it." I try getting out of the conversation.
"Well, if you don't come up with that answer during class, why don't you come hang out with my group for lunch?" He asks hope clearly in his tone.
"Well, I'm sorry, Louis, but I have plans." I say.
"Well, Sky, Is it a boyfriend?" He mocks me.
"No, I'm single," wrong move Skyler, wrong move,"But I'm meeting up with a friend."
"Your friend can come along as well."
"I don't think that she'll be okay with that."
"Then I'll drag you away. I wanna know more about you."
"I don't think so."
"And why not?"
"I have 8 people to talk to, so we can arrange a time for my brothers and parents to come see me."
"Well, do that later. If I don't find you at lunch, I'll continue to bug you everyday 'til you are at the table."
"Fine."
Louis continued to talk until the bell rang at 8:00 am. I go back to my dorm and find Vivy there.
"How was algebra?" She asks.
"Well, wanna hang with this guy named Louis and his group? I told him I would because he wouldn't shut up."
"I guess, Aaron's got things to take care of so. . ."
"And want to go to a party later tonight?"
" HELL YEAH! I haven't been invited to one fucking party all month."
"Then it's settled."
It turns 12:00, so Vivy and I go to the lunch tables. I see Louis waving his hands in the air like a maniac. I start to giggle as I walk over.
"OMG! How did I miss this before when you wouldn't shut up about him? You like Louis don't you Sky?" Vivy asks.
"What?! No!" I immediately reply.
When I sit down, I notice Louis has his arm around a girl.
"This is Niall, Harry, Liam, Zayn, Perrie, and Scarlet. Perrie is Zayn's girlfriend and Scarlet is mine." Louis says, pointing at people around the table.
"I'm Skyler, Sky for short. This is Veronica, Vivy or Viv for short." I say.
After Louis claimed 'Scarlet' as his, I feel upset. Out of nowhere, my phone starts ringing.
"Hello?" I say getting up from the table.
"Skyler, Max wants to talk to you." My mom says.
"Put Max on the phone then." I gleefully cheer.
"SISSY!!!!!"
"MAXY!!!!!!" I chuckle upon my words.
"Mommy and Daddy said we're coming to visit soon." I can hear his smile through the phone.
Before I could say another word, the phone was snatched out of my hand.
"Hello, who is this?" Louis asks into the phone.
"Give me my phone, I wanna talk to Max." I try snatching the phone back.
"This is Louis. I'm your sister's best friend. I'm sorry, but your sister is busy, so if you could call back later Max that would be fantastic." Louis Smiles as he holds the phone in one hand and his index finger to my mouth to shush me with the other.
"Okay, Bye bye Max." Louis hangs up.
"What was that?" I say to him.
"I'll be coming over to your room later to help you for the party."He says walking to the table.
I yank him back by his arm. Before he says anything, I slap him in the face. His head is turned to face the other way. He then looks at me. I then walk away, back to my dorm.
-Louis' P.O.V-
Damn Sky's feisty, I love it. I just wish that I wouldn't have introduced Scarlet as something else. I like Skyler. Hopefully I won't piss her off more.
