Protector

Destiny's POV

As I walk along the sidewalk of this small town of Roseville Ohio, I see groups of guys that are very antoxicated and looking at all the girls who pass them like they're giant cupcakes. I try to stay away from them as much as possible because of what happened that night when me and my friend's decided to get drunk and walk home alone by ourselfs. What a great idea huh? But I don't like to talk about, no one knows except Denver, my best friend.

One of them has black hair that is just way to long, and a white t-shirt with some black skinny jeans and a leather jacket. Another one has dirty blonde hair and just a black t-shit with regular skinny jeans on. The others were all brown haired and they all basiclly wore the same thing as the second guy.

As I walk past the group of drunken assholes, I can smell the alcohol from here, along with the pot that they're smoking. I can hear them talking about all the girls that are passing at the same time I am.

"Look at that one" one says in a very deep voice which gives me the chills that go up and down your spine, and they're not the good ones.

"yeah, that ones good but that ones better." another one says and I can feel them all looking in my direction. "c'mon follow my lead" the second one said and I could hear footsteps getting louder. Shit.

"Hey babe wait up!" the first one yells to me as I walk just a little faster. Then he whisles at me, damn it I can't fucking stand it when guys do that to girls.

"I'm not your fucking dog!" I yell at them not even looking back, and frankly I don't really want to.

"C'mon babe don't be like that" I hear him say right next to my ear! I jump back and stare at the black haired one with the meanest glare I could make and he just smiled, his breath smelled badly of beer and pot. Great he's high, and drunk!

The others caught up with us and he looks away from me to look at his buddies. Awsome. I turn around and run as fast as I could. I heard his buddies yelling at him for letting me run away from them. I kept running though, but I wasn't running for long cause the blonde one caught up to me and full on tackled me and I fell to the ground with him landing ontop of me. My knees scraped the pavement and I winsed in pain as my knees filled with pain.

The dude then got off of me and grabbed my upper arm and pulled me off the ground, as he did he slammed me aggensed a brick wall that was to the right of me. I instently got a masive headache and maoned out in pain as he helded me with my back agensed the wall and he had both my hands above my head.

The other caught up, again, and they all were out of breath and smiling evily at me. I looked back at the blonde one and he was looking at me angrily, "No one runs from me, I get what I want, when I want it" he said spitting on my face in the prosess. Gross.

I looked at him with evil eyes back. "not today" I said shaking my head a little and he just looked at me like I was crazy and I smiled. I then razied my left knee and kneed him right in the balls. He got wide eyed and let go of my hand and fell to the ground on his knees in front of me, he yelled in pain. I then kicked him in the face which with so much force it made him fly back and land on his back on the pavement. "paybacks a bitch ain't it?" I said and then spit on him. In any other situation I would never do that but this is payback bitch! The others were just looking at thier buddy on the ground, then they all looked at me like I was superwoman.

I shrugged at them and jumped from where I was and ran up the street as fast as my injured knee could carry me, and it didn't help that I just kneed a guy in the balls really hard. I heard the guy yelling at the others cause he lit me get away for the second time. but they didn't bother coming after me again. Thank God.

I ran until I got to the street corner, I stopped to catch my breath and looked for any cars that were passing by me. The light turned red and I walked acrossed the street to some where I could be safe. But I would be searching forever there is no place safe here. This town is dangerous and I need to find a way to be safe, whatever it takes.
