"He was a total hottie, face the facts Rea!" Sierra said, lightly shoving me. I laughed but shook my head. He was a hottie but I don't know if I was really interested in getting a boyfriend. I had never had one because I turned everyone down.

"I know he was a hottie and I got his number but-"

"YOU GOT HIS NUMBER?!" She squealed, interrupting me.

I rolled my eyes, "Yes, I got his number, but that's beside the point! I wanted to say that I don't know if I want a boyfriend S... They seen like too much work. I mean look at you and Evan! He's moving out here which is great and your career is taking off but you guys don't talk a lot. I don't want that!"

She flinches, "I love Evan though and you'll find your someone one day sweetheart, just try with Zayn, okay?"

I nod and she picks up her phone, probably texting Evan, asking how moving is going. I giggle as she makes weird faces at her phone. She smiles at me and I grin, standing up from her bed and stretching.

As I walk into the hallway, I feel cold air hit my body and I shiver. The heat turned off. Stupid piece of shit, we need to get that fixed.

I turn it back on and make my way into the kitchen to start dinner. After looking through our pantry, I decide on chicken alfredo.

As I put the sauce and noodles to boil, I pull my phone out and decide to text some people.

As I'm picking someone to text, a message comes through from a contact 'Zayn' which I'm guessing is the guy from the movie theatre.

Hey are you free tomorrow?

I think about it and I remember I'm off tomorrow because of the new employee.

To: Zayn
Sure! What time?

From: Zayn
How's 12?

To: Zayn
It's a date (:

From: Zayn
Okay, see you tomorrow babe (:

The noodles begin to boil and I turn around, grabbing the pot of noodles and pouring it into the readystrainer sitting at the bottom of the sink. I poured them evenly among 2 plates and poured alfredo sauce and chicken on top and set on the table with silverware and cups, taking out the milk and water jugs because we're losers.

"SIERRA! DINNER!" I shouted down the hall as her door swung open.

"CHICKEN!" She shouted, pushing past me into the kitchen. I laughed but took my seat across from her.

"This is so good!' She moaned and I stifled a laugh.

"That's what you get from a half waitress half chef at a resturaunt. It still doesn't make sense to me either. My job is split in half." She nodded, chewing her food.

"I get that it doesn't make sense to you Rea... so what should I make for dinner tomorrow?" If you haven't noticed, we switch off dinner days so each night, someone different makes dinner.

"Why don't you make... tacos?" I suggested, going with something on the easier side.

"Okay..." She didn't look like she was going to be able to do that but she brushed it off and her face was wiped of expression soon enough.

"So how's Evan?" I asked. Her face lit up and she launched into the subject of her boyfriend.

~.~ (next morning)

I stretched my arms over my head and moved the sleeping laptop off my bed. I'd fallen asleep watching "Angus, Thongs, and Perfect Snogging".

Harmony lay on my pillow, fast asleep. I giggled and picked her small kitten body off my pillow, cradling her in my arms.

She stirred and pawed the air, stretching before her body relaxed again. She softly mewled as I set her on the floor of the bathroom by her litter box.

I looked at myself in the mirror and shrugged, my hair didn't look too bad. Harmony rubbed against my legs as I walked out and I picked her up again, cradling her.

I picked my outfit for today out and stretched.

Breakfast time.
