A Christmas Kidnap

Chapter 19

~Milly's P.O.V.~

"I don't think so," Leah said. Oh no. Right when her finger was about to pull the trigger, the security guard shot her twice. She fell to the ground lifeless with blood pouring out of her. Kat was in shock. I looked over at her and her eyes were practically popping out of her head. Her jaw dropped and was
quivering. My mom was in shock too, but not as bad as Kat. Harry and I were trying to keep our cools, but he was doing a much better job than I was.
Some police officers pushed us away from the scene and we all say down by the bathrooms.
"Shes dead. Leah's dead," Kat said to herself, still in shock. I swallowed.
"Yeah. She's gone." I replied. We sat there for what seemed like hours until an announcement came on the intercom.
"Attention, all flights have been postponed due to a shooting. Again, all flights postponed. Thank you."
After we all calmed down a little, we went to see how long Harry's flight was postponed for. 3 hours.
"I'm hungry, we should grab something to eat," I said, trying to break the silence between all of us as we walked back to the car. Everyone nodded and mom drove us to a pizza parlor. A few paparazzi showed up, but it wasn't too bad.
When we were done, we still had a lot of time to kill so we went back to my house for another hour and a half.
When we were back at the airport, there were many reporters and police cars. Then I saw Leah's mom. She looked so broken, tears running down her face, her eyes closed and silently sobbing to herself. I felt bad for her, it was pretty much Raelynn's fault that she was dead.
"Gate 23 is now boarding," was said over the intercom. Harry looked at all of us, and then stared at me.
"Goodbye Milly, I'll never forget you," Harry said while engulfing me in a hug.
"I'll never forget you either," I said, a tear escaping from my eye. Why am I crying? I've barely known Harry for a week.
"Thank you," he said before walking over to his gate and boarding his flight.
