Chapter 16

Mackenzie's POV
I've sat here for hours planning a way of escaping. After that fierce beating the other day I couldn't handle it anymore.
So I finally came up with a good plan to escape this hell hole.
When they would come and take me to the new location I would run and never stop till I got home. I believed in Harry.
I really thought he was going to come whisk me away and beat the bad guys up. But I eventually lost my faith."Get up!". One of the men said. I motioned to the ropes and cuffs and they came and untied me. The handcuffs were in front of my body, so that would make it easier to run.
They pushed me and we got outside minutes later. "Get in the car". Liam said roughly. I forgot to menchin, Liam has gotten more aggressive. He was no longer the sweet one with the amazing personality. He was a monster like the rest of them.
I kicked him in the neck and he fell to the ground, clutching his throat like a baby. The other men stopped talking and noticed all the commotion. They came running towards me and I tried my best fighting them off. I kneed the first guy in the balls, and fell to the ground. And now it was me and my kidnapper. Head to head. He tried grabbing me, but I ducked and crawled under his legs.
He grabbed my throat and started chocking me. I struggled to breath but told myself not to struggle. I finally thought of something. I kicked him in the shin and stepped on his throat while I spit on him. This was my chance to escape and I wasn't taking it for granted. I ran but when I looked back my kidnapper was off the ground with a gun in his hand.
Oh shit.
I heard the bang go off and the bullet got me in my leg. I've got to say that was a good aim. I screamed and fell to the ground. He was coming closer by the minute. I forced myself off the ground and kept running. Technically limping because I got shot in the leg.
I ran until I was out of breath an came across a road. With cars and stores. I was so relieved but that soon went away when he was still following me. A light bulb went off in my head. I ran across the road with him still following me. A car screeched but knocked him in the air. The car stopped and a woman jumped out. "Thank you so much!". I said limping away.
I ran until I my house came in sight. I was so happy, but my mood immediately changed when I saw cop cars and my mother. And guess who else was there? Harry.
