38.

After Harry's shocking confession we both were quiet, neither of us ready or seeing the reason to talk about something that was to much to handle in the moment.

Once Harry had finished crying, and his body got sore from holding mine up, we both silently decided to go to bed that night. The both of us were tangled in each other's arms and legs when we woke up the next morning at the break of dawn, for his alarm had gone off.

"Can you turn that off?" I groan, turning over so I was laying on my stomach, and he gave me a shaky sigh in return. "No baby you have to get up, we're going to go see my mum." He says, the dip in the bed popping back up as he slid off.

"Can't it wait til noon?" I mumble into my pillow, not ready to arise from my tomb of warmth, especially not after my long stressful day yesterday, a day that had produced thoughts emotional enough to make you faint, thoughts I wasn't ready for.

"C'mon Lou, I told her we'd be there first thing in the morning, and even if I didn't I still wanna see her." He whined, sitting next to my feet at the edge of the bed and tickled them, which made me squeal before curling up into a ball.

"Don't make me dump water on you." He warns, which makes me pop an eye open in his direction. "Fasinating." I said, a lazy smile on my face as he cocked his head in confusion.
"What is love?"

"How much you look like a monkey in the morning."

"Morning humor, cute. Now get your arse out of bed." He curtly responds, pinching my bum, which causes me to shoot up with a loud yelp.

"Ouch! I was only kidding you bundle of joy." I grumble, which only results in him rolling his eyes as he tosses his duffle bag on the bed, and begins to extract his day time clothes from it in hopes of forming a suitable outfit.

"I would hope so." He mutters, his voice bearing offence but the smile in on his face gave away his true demeanor. "Keep dreaming." I chuckle, sitting up on the bed on my knee's as I stretched then ran my hands through my mop of hair.

"Of course, I love dreaming about you." He chuckles, winking at me as he peeled off his blazer and dress shirt from yesterday, then pulled on a black t-shirt, before peeling off his black jeans, and pulled on his white ones.

"Remind me to spill some juice on that will you?" I say to him, my mouth watering at the side of his seductive body, and my mind reeling with curiousity on what he might look like with out all the concealer.

Is there many cuts? I mean Gemma wasn't exactly specific, but from the tone of her voice and after Harry's confession last night, I wouldn't be to surprised. Or would I?

Shaking my head I slid off the bed, and wondered over to Harry who was now combing out his curls in the mirror. "If your here to spill juice on me I will kill you." He warns, wincing as he tried to tear through another knot.

"No baby, I just want to hug you good morning." I say, my tone innocent as I hugged him from behind, then ran my hands over his chest and stomach. My poor broken kitten.

It was actually in a way, if I really thought about it, it was amazing to know I was the reason he was breathing with a smile. The reason he didn't put the bullet through his head.

Last night I had been to tired to ponder over his confession, but now my thoughts had decided to go there. The depression must've been what Maddie was referring to when she thanked me, she was thanking me for saving him. Or have I saved him?

I mean, just because I was here right now pressing soft kisses on his back, barely audible through the fabric of his shirt, didn't mean that I was saving him. Or did it? Was that the amazing miraculous part of it?

"Whatcha thinking about my Louis?" Harry then asks, the comb down on the counter now, and his fingers lacing through mine as I shrugged. "Just wondering how I'll present myself to your mum." I say, not wanting to reveal my true thoughts as he spun around to face me, and kissed my head.

"Just be your good self, and there will be no problems." He assures, walking back over to his duffle bag where he pulled out a carry on bottle of lube and stuck it in his pocket. "Your kidding right?" I scoff, crossing my arms as I leaned agaisnt the counter and he smirked.

"Not at all my dearest Louis. Now please, do get dress, then make an appearance in the living room so I may take you to meet my mother then get you food afterwards." He says, all pish posh as he walks out of the room leaving me alone, and I sigh shaking my head.

Then the next few minutes were spent with me changing into my calico sweatshirt, jeans, and white convere's, strange outfit choice I know. Once my mop had become a little smoother I looked myself over in the mirror then walked out to Harry who was sitting on the couch playing on his phone.

"Are we going to Gemma today as well?" I ask, the question also lingering on my mind as he stood up and slipped his phone in his pocket. "If we have time, then I guess." He says, draping an arm over my shoulder as he kissed my temple then guided me over to door which was open in a moment and closed in a moment; then we walked down the coordier to the elevator, which was a quick ride down.

We didn't really talk much as we rode down, I just stayed nestled under his arm, happy to have his skin pressed against mine as he hummed softly, then called out a polite greeting to the front desk people as we stepped off the elevator, then walked out into the chilly morning air.

"Brr. It's cold." I whine, shivering as he pulled me tighter to his side. "We'll be in the car in a moment." He assures, not seeming phased in the slightest by the chill we were walking through.

"Aren't you cold?" I ask. The question seeming like a logical one. "Not really, I'm more use to this weather then you, because I have a tendency to spend more time in the cold then most." He simply says as if it were normal, then we both haulted at the edge of the awning where a humming black cab was waiting.

"Ah. Just in time." Harry said, rubbing my arm as he pulled me over then opened the door for me, my nerves starting to kick in as the thought registered that he was taking me to meet his mum.

Weird. I don't remember feeling this nervous when I met Hannah's parents a few years ago, maybe this was more intense because of Maddie's warning, and the fact I was a boyfriend with a boyfriend.
Slidding into the soft leather of the warm cab felt like heaven, especially with the fact that Harry was keeping his arm around me. "Where to?" The driver asks, once Harry had closed our door.

"The Feather-Stone Hospital." He says, and the driver nods as he peels out of the parking lot of the hotel. Taking a shaky breath, I sat back in my chair as I grabbed Harry's arm and begin to trace scrapes on the bare skin which made him squirm, and giggle.

"Louis." He whines, and I look over at him with a smile as I placed his hand down on my thigh and sighed as I sat back and looked up at the ceiling of the car. "I'm nervous." I then find my mouth admitting, and his hands snakes back into mine.

"Don't be. She'll love you." He assures, but his voice was choppy in a few places which gave me the impression he didn't know much more then I did. "Is there anything I should or shouldn't do?" I ask, biting my lip as I played with his fingers and he shrugged.

"Just be yourself, and polite. Try to get on with her, that's your best bet. Though, if Gemma liked you, then I would assume she would." He said, his green irisis' watching my fingers run over his as I stayed silent, my heart in my throat, and calves trembling.

"Is Gemma more picky then her?" I inquire, and he shrugs once more. "Sorta, kinda, not really." He chuckles, running a hand through my hair, and ruffled it. "Louis, she will like you. Not only are you funny, sometimes, but your adorable." He compliments.

"Lets hope she likes me for my personality and not looks." I laugh humorously as I kiss the tip of his pinky then pull my knee's up to trap his hand inbetween them. "I'm sure she'll adore both."

He sighs, squeezing my thigh as he looked out his window, and I looked out of mine at the simple town scenery. He really lived in a nice place to be honest. It was very simple, yet enchanting.

It was the type of town that would look great with frost coating it, or snow.

"The hospital is just up there." Harry informed, sitting up a little straighter as the taxi driver pulled out of the early morning school traffic, and into the little road that led directly into the parking lot.

"Just drop us off at the door." Harry says, my heart hammering so hard right now it made my breathing shallow. I had never felt this nervous before, well except the first time I topped, that was pretty nerve wracking.

"Ready to meet my mum?" Harry asks, the driver parking directly at the front and I swallow a ball of saliva in my mouth. "I'm glad I didn't eat breakfest or it'd be all over this cab right now." I squeak and the cab driver looks back at me.

"If you throw up in my cab so help me boy." He warns playfully as Harry laughs and hands him a small stack of bills. "Thanks." My boyfriend says, slipping out of the cab then walking around to the front to open my door.

"C'mon baby, it'll be okay." He coax's, holding out a hand for me, one I feebily took. "What if she rejects me? What if she rejects us? What if she doesn't like me?" I say, my voice tight as I bit my lip harshly, following Harry inside the waiting room that smell strongly like bleach, and puke.

"Louis. She knows I'm bisexual, and she won't reject us. Your not like the other guys." He sighs, dragging me over to the front desk where a nurse was typing at an alarmingly fast pace on her computer.

"Harry Styles to see Anne Styles." He says, clearing his throat and the nurse looks up at him for a moment before nodding and turning back to her computer, typing his mothers name on the computer.

"Ah yes, she's in room 304 F, on the second floor." She informs, smiling sweetly as Harry nods, and once more my body is dragged over to the elevator that is located across the waiting room.

"It'll be okay." He said, kissing my hand as he pressed the button to open the doors then we both stepped in. "I hope." I breath, watching him press the button for the second floor as he mouthed the room number to himself.

For the short ride up we were both completely silent, my mind racing with thoughts of bolting the moment the doors opened, or maybe pretending to faint? Yeah. I could faint! No, that would only give everyone and their mother a heart attack.

When the doors slid open, Harry's grip tightened on my hand as he pulled me out of the elevator, and over to the panel on the wall that had all the room numbers. "She's just down here." He mumbles, rubbing my hand with his thumb as we both began to walk side by side to his mum's room.

"What do I say?" I ask, and he glances at me as we stop at the door of her room. "Just start with 'hello', and smile." He said in response, twisting the door knob, and pushing the door quietly open in case she was asleep.

"Mum?" He called, and the sound of a magazine being placed down sounded as a woman looked up with a grin. I'd be lying if I said she wasn't goregous.

She had wavy dark brown hair that fell a couple of inch past her shoulders, and two dark blue eyes that looked almost brown.

"Harry love? Is that you?" She called, sitting up straight, a wide grin on her face as Harry detatched himself from me then walked over to kiss her head and give her a tight hug. "Hey mum." He mumbles, and she kisses his cheek, and hugs him back.

"Hey baby." She coo's as I stand there in the doorway awkwardly, unsure of what to do with myself. "Mummy, I brought someone I want you to meet." He says, then pulls out of the hug and gestures for me to step in and shut the door as she gasps.

"Is that Louis?" She asks, making my heart race even faster as we both nodded. For a moment she looked me up and down, then a wide grin appeared on her face as she held out her arms.

"Get over here and give me a hug." She demands softly, and I share a surprised look with Harry who shrugs shaking his head as I walked over and give her an awkward hug and she hugs me back tightly.

"Oh Louis, you've made my Hazzy bear so happy! Last time he came all he talked about was a blue eyed angel that made his heart beat again." She says softly, and I feel a wide grin appear on my face as my heart skips a beat and I relax into the hug.

"Did not!" Harry protested, and I then pulled out of the embrace to look back at my lovely boy who was blushing a bright red, and squirming in the complimentry hospital chair for visitors.

"Sure Harry." I teased, sitting down next to his mum on the bed as her words played through my head again, and my chest fluttered. "Now don't you lie love, you described him just right." She grabbed my chin gently, and twisted my head to look at hers as she gave a curt nod.

"You described him just right." She says, and he covers his face as his dimples pop out and I laugh. "How specific was his description?" I ask, liking this conversation, mostly because Harry was squirming.

"From the way your eyes shined, to how soft your finger tips were. Said you were a perfect angel." She informs, as Harry falls silent, and dares to peek out from behind his fingers as I winked at him.
"Well I admit he's very creative, but I don't consider myself a perfect angel." I say truthfully.

I honestly didn't see how I was some innocent angel in his eyes, in my eyes I was far from it, but for their amusement I'd flow with it.

"Now don't say that, you do look very angellic." His mum protested, swatting my arm playfully as I shrugged, and she looked over at Harry. "Oh dear, you seem embarassed?" She points out and Harry crosses his arms as he sits back.

"Just surprised you'd share that information with my boy." He states, turning up his nose as she rolls her eyes. "There's a few other things I could share." She says, glancing to the side as me as she bites her lip and I smirk at Harry.

"And what other things may I ask?" I inquire, sitting up a little straighter, as a look of concern crossed Harry's face. "Mum.." He says in a warning tone but she waves him off.

"Well lets see, now. Hmmm. Oh I've got one! When Harry was little, he loved to steal mine, and Gemma's bra's. He'd then parade around the house with it on over his clothes! I think I have a picture actually." She says, snapping her fingers as she grabbed her phone off the end table and switched it on as she pulled up the gallery.

"Mum!" Harry groans, "Don't show him that!" But she hushes him as she turns the phone towards me and I see a picture of little Harry wearing a giant white bra over his clothes, and he was posing like Superman.

"Oh my gosh!" I gasp, trying not to laugh, but some slips out and Harry throws a pen at me. "I was like six." He grumbles, and I shush him this time as his mum scrolled over to another picture.

"Ah. I remember this. When Harry was also little he'd put on his uncles suits every time we came to visit, and then would shove fruit up the sleeves to make it look like muscles." She giggles, showing me the picture of Harry in an oversized suit with fruit falling out of the sleeve, and I couldn't help but laugh a bit louder then last time which earned me getting another pen thrown at me.

"Oh and this is from when Harry went to Victoria's Secret and tried on things there then modled for his friends." She says, a picture of fifteen year old Harry in a pink bathrobe with a lacey bra peeking out from underneath showing on the screen.

"Wow Harry, you have nice taste in woman's fashion." I say, a wide amused smile on my face. Oh I was definately going to blackmail him with this one. "Quiet you." He warned, holding up another pen when I sneaked a peek at him.

Where was he getting these pens?

"Mum I think you've embarassed me enough." He then says, and she sighs as she closes out her photo gallery and places the phone on the table. "Your right love." She says in a defeated tone but I knew that look, she wasn't done.

"Aww that's to bad, I was enjoying his reactions to each embarassing moment." I whine, pouting as a sly smile appeared on her face. "Did Harry ever tell you that he shaves his legs because it makes him feel more attractive?" She asks, and my jaw literally drops as I looked over at him, and he jumps up.

"I'm leaving while you two have your little embarass the shit out of Harry moment." He huffs, smacking me playfully upside the head as he walks out of the room, and shuts the door behind him.

"Well isn't he a joy." I laugh, getting up, and moving to his chair so me and his mum both had room to move around. Harry shaving his legs would actually explain why I never felt much hair there.

I always thought it was because he was just one of those who didn't grow much hair.

"Oh, he'll get over it." She laughs, sitting back against the pillow as I stretched in the chair, feeling much more comfortable now with her as I gave her a friendly smile. "He normally does when I tease him." I inform, sitting back, and getting comfortable.

"Very true." She confirms, sighing as I then bit my lip, deciding to edge around a sensitive topic. "So did Harry ask you and Gemma about coming to live with him?" I ask softly, slouching in the chair as she nod slowly.

"Yes, yes he did." She says rubbing her index finger over the fabric of the blanket. "What did you think of it?" I asked, hopeful her and Gemma would be coming, because I was already very fond of both of them, more Harry's mum, in the past twenty-four hours.

"I think it was an absolutely wonderful idea, and I keep meaning to tell him me and Gemma agree." She sighs, a distant smile on her face as she looks over at me and I sit up with excitement.

"That's wonderful! You'll love Doncaster, I can show you girls around. I have sisters so I know where all the girly places are." I say, and she laughs. "Oh Louis, your such a sweetheart, and I hope you stay that way." She shivered.

"Last time I met one of Harry's ex's, he appeared sweet at first but then turned into a monster. Though you don't remind me of him in the slightest." She assures, and I nod quietly.

"When that guy broke Harry's heart my poor baby went nearly insane! With drinking, piercings, tattoo's and dying his hair green. You should've seen it." She mutters, shaking her head in obvious disapproval as she looked up at the ceiling.

"In a way I'm kind of glad I didn't." I admit, the effects of Harry's confession still lingering on my tired body. "I'm not surprised." She then giggles. "One thing he hated was being tickled, he's very ticklish." She informs, and I couldn't help the smirk crawling on my face.

"That sounds like something I may need to test out later." I comment, and she shakes her head with a smile. "I'm sure he'll let you get away with it." She states, and Harry pokes his head in.

"Hey Lou, the nurse says we gotta split now, because my mum needs to take her meds, and get some rest." He informs, and blows a kiss to his mum as she nods with a disappointed look, and he shuts the door leaving us alone once more.

"I guess we'll have to save the remainder of this conversation for next time." I sigh in the same disappointment as I stood up to give her a hug goodbye, one she returned tightly. "Bye Louis, see you later or tomorrow." She says, then when I pull out she grabs my hand.

"If you ever need anything, anything at all, feel free to come to me, because your already a second son to me." She say sweetly, and I smile widely. She accepted me.

"I'll put you on speed dial." I say, giving her hand a light squeeze before pulling away and walking over to the door which I pulled open then shut when I stepped out.

"Boo!" Harry then shouts, and I squeal in surprise as Harry appears. "You scared me!" I protest, and he shrugs. "Let me kiss you better." He says, reaching out to grab my waist but I step away.

"If you can catch me!" I call before taking off down the hall in the direction of the elevator, but Harry moves faster and catches me half way to the elevator before slinging me over his shoulder as I howl with laughter, and squirm.

"Let me go!" I whined, pinching his back, but he merely smacked my bum in reply.

"I'll never let you go Louis."

His voice then became low and soft.

"Ever."
