Love is War
Chapter 3
"Mel, aren't those guys over there cute?" I asked Melanie.
"Only the blonde one" She said with a smile on her face.
"OOOO Melanie's got a crush! Melanie's got a crush!" I sang like an annoying little kid.
"No I don't, I can call him cute and not have a crush on him. I don't even know the guy. He might be an ass, but if he is one, then he hides it well with his super attractive face." She had a point, and that guy was very attractive. But not more attractive than the curly-haired boy with green eyes. He was someone I would date, maybe, it depends on his personality. If he likes to party than he's my type. But if he likes to stay home and do homework, which it doesn't look like he would, than he's not my type.
I had forgotten Rachel was here too. She kept staring at the table of boys. She looked like a stalker. She was making it so obvious that she liked one of the boys at that table, or more than one.
"Rachel, which one?" I asked her. I think I was pretty clear on that question, but she looked at me with a confused look on her face. She wasn't fooling me I know she knew what I was talking about.
"Which one what?" she asked me, still looking puzzled.
"Which one do you like dumbass?" I asked her, NEEDING to know the answer.
"Oh! I like the one with curly brown hair and green eyes." OH HELL NO! I liked him, and I was going to do something about it, not caring how much I screw up. Well, that is if I screw up. I'm not the type of girl who screws up around boys.
I went into the bathroom to check if my makeup was ok. My makeup was perfect, as always. Unless I start crying and my mascara starts to run, but I'm not going to cry today. I went into the manager's office in the restaurant and paid him $1,000 to let me be a waitress for the day. It took me like 10 minutes to convince him that I wasn't going to poison the food or put drugs in it. I went over to the table where the boys were.
"Hello, may I take your order?" I asked , twirling my hair as I did so. I could see the blonde one smiling and the curly-haired one with a smirk on his face, but the other 3 sat there trying to hold what seemed like their girlfriends back from attacking me.
My plan was working.
"Um, I want a Coke and fries." The one with tattoos all over his arm said. That's when I noticed all of them had tattoos except for the blonde one.
"I'm sorry but what are your names? Um... It's for a contest. Whoever comes here the most will win $10,000" I lied. But I could still give them $10,000.
"Oh! I'm going to win that! My name is Niall Horan." the blonde one told me. I informed them that they could enter in groups of 2-5. They all told me their names. The one I liked the most was Harry.
"Ok, so it's Niall, Harry, Zayn, Liam, and Louis. Ok. Now, that I have your names, what else would you like to order?" I asked. None of them wanted anything else because they had already been served by another waitress. I told them that there was a mix up and they re-assigned the waitress, and also that they didn't tell me that they had already been served. Harry told me that he wanted to order something else. I asked him to tell me what it was so I could write it down.
"Um.... I want a Sprite with fries and a side of you" Was he flirting with me?
"Ok. Your Coke and fries will be here in a few minutes. And for your side order, here's my number." I walked away and turned in the order to the chef. I got out of my waitress clothes and put on the clothes I had on before. When I was ready, I went over to Harry's table.
"Hey Harry. Do I look different?" I asked.
"Hell yeah. You look better than ever babe." Did he just call me babe? I'm liking the sound of this....
" Thanks. My name's Amanda by the way." I told him with a smile on my face. He had a smirk on his face as we talked.
"I love your name, Amanda." He said with a sexy voice. " Are you new in town?"
I replied with a simple 'yes' as his friends greeted me. Yay! I already made new friends! Now I knew Perrie, Danielle, Eleanor, Liam, Louis, Zayn, Niall, and Harry. Niall and Harry told me they were single, but Harry whispered in my ear that he was working on having a girlfriend. I asked him who he like and he looked at me with a you-know-who-stop-acting-oblivious-and-just-date-me face. Later on that evening, Harry asked me out on a date. Of course I replied a yes. I put his number in my phone and told him I had to go, you know, just to leave him wanting more, even though I hadn't given him anything yet. He told me not to go but I insisted on leaving. Shit. I forgot I came here with Rachel and Melanie. I walked over to their table as they gave me death glares.
"Hey guys...." I told them. They looked angry and worried.
"Oh My God! Where the hell were you?!" Were you in the bathroom this whole time?!" Rachel asked me. She was probably thinking I was taking a shit or something.
"No! I was with the boys over there. I think I have a new boyfriend" I told them, smirking.
"Seriously?! Who?!" Melanie asked me. I told her that I was dating the curly-haired green-eyed boy and that his name was Harry. I also told Melanie that the blonde one was named Niall and that he was single.
"He's single??!!" She asked me in shock. I can tell she was very happy.
"Yeah. I'll introduce you to him one of these days. Maybe on Monday, they are going to the same school that we're going to." I informed her. Rachel was looking at me with disgust in her face.
"I told you I liked Harry." She told me. She looked furious. Ha. It was sort of funny to see her that jealous.
"There's other boys in the world." I told her.
"Good, then why don't you go date one of those other boys in the world and leave Harry for me?" She snapped.
"Because, I had the guts to go talk to him. And flirt. Um... I think we should go now." I saw Harry mouthing me to go over to his table, so I gave in and went over to his table.
"Babe, Niall was checking out your friend over there, what's her name?" I was confused in which one he was talking about.
"Niall, which one?" I asked him.
He smiled and pointed over to Melanie.
"She thinks your cute." I told him and his face lit up with joy.
"Here's her number. Give me yours and I'll give it to her." He gave me his number and I gave it to Melanie. Before we left, Melanie winked at Niall and waved goodbye. Harry winked at me and licked his lips. Oh God. I blew a kiss at him and walked out the door.
I couldn't wait for school on Monday. Wow. Who new a boy could actually make me want to go to school?!
When I got home I immediately called Harry.
"Hey babe" He answered after the first ring. I could hear the rest of them saying 'ooooo' Harry and Amanda sitting in a tree. F-U-C-K-I-N-G. I laughed at the song they were singing. I hoped that would happen soon, but not in a tree,
"What's up baby?" I tell him.
"Nothing much. Still with the gang."
"The gang?" I asked confused.
"Yeah. I'm in a gang. I'm the leader. Once we are officially boyfriend and girlfriend, you can be in the gang." he told me, I liked the sound of that.
"Ok baby, did you know that makes you a lot hotter?" I told him. Yep. I was flirting over the phone.
"I was hoping so" he told me. That was so attractive.
"So, I want our first date to be tomorrow. We are going to a club. Niall is also taking Melanie, so are you coming?" Once he told me where we were going, I knew what I was going to wear.
"Of course, Harry. Why wouldn't I go? At what time are you going to pick me up?" I asked.
"I thought you were going to pick me up. Nah, I'm just kidding. I'll be there at 8:00" He gave me a 'bye babe see ya' and hung up. I went into thee elevator and went upstairs. It was time to start picking out my outfit for tomorrow.
