Chapter 4
Harry's POV
The doorbell rang a little after 6. I opened the door to Holly smiling back at me. I invited her in and we sat on the couch and talked for a bit. "Harry! You still haven't met Boris!" She said seriously. "Boris?" "My dog! He's a blonde labrador, I've had him since I was 6 and he's my bestfriend" she said with a smile. "We'll ill have to come over and meet him then won't I?" "Yes you most definately certainly do!" After a while we ordered food and watched movies. We put on Paranormal Activity, I've never seen someone more scared of a movie in my life. At one point she was screaming and crying so I paused it a comforted her for a bit. When it finished I was worried she was overly frightened by it. "That was scary.." "It's only a movies Holly its alright! We won't watch any scary ones now ok?"
Holly's POV
That movie was horrible I can't believe I just watched it! I was shivering and screaming and crying and wow I just hate scary movies. Harry put on the notebook and I was relieved because it meant no more scariness.
Harry's POV
The notebook finished and Holly had her head resting on my lap playing with my fingers while I played with her hair. "Uhh Holly?" I asked nervous about asking 'the question'. "Yeah?" I stuttered abit before I decided to just say it, "We'll uh Holly.. I um uhh well I just.." "Spit it out Harry!" "I like you Holly!" It was silent for a bit until I continued, "Holly I mean really like you. More than friends and I just wanted to know how you feel about that?" By now she had sat up. She stared for abit before she smiled and pulled me in for a hug. She hugged me for what felt like forever, she had buried her head in my neck. "Harry, I like you too," she whispered into my neck, I hugged her tightly before pulling away smiling widely at her. The weight that was just lifted off my shoulders was unbelievable. We watched love actually but she fell asleep on me halfway through the movie.
Louis's POV
El and I walked in to see Holly and Harry asleep on the couch. "So it looks like Holly said yes?" El whispered. "Yeah I hope she sticks around actually. Harry has never been this way about a girl. You know how he's always about the sex and everything, well he's different with Holly" "It's good to see Harry like that" El said smiling at the two.
Holly's POV
I woke up to Harry on the couch with me playing on his phone. "Goodmorning love" he said with a sleepy voice. "Morning". Just then Louis walked in "Morning Lovers!" He basically shouted. We just laughed. "Hey Holly, have you been on twitter lately?" "Yeah I have a lot of well... rude one direction fans in my mentions." I shrugged. "Holly, don't worry about what they say you know? They're only jealous and I don't want you to be hurt by them." "It's fine Harry I don't take any notice of them."
Holly's POV
Harry and I both went back to my flat that morning. I had to go see Boris I can't be without him for too long he's too special. Boris sniffed Harry for a bit, he's always been super protective of me and he only likes certain people. Harry held out his hand for Boris to take in his scent and then started patting and playing with him. I smiled at how boris accepted Harry. "Let's take him for a walk!" Harry said excitedly. I grabbed Boris's lead and took him outside. We were walking down the street when I saw the guy who had ran into the pole yesterday, his name was Jack. "Hey Holly!" he said waving at me walking over. " Oh hey Jack." Harry looked curious "Oh uh Harry this is Jack, Jack this is Harry," "Her boyfriend" Harry cut me off. I looked at him with a be-nice-he's-just-some-guy look but he raised his eyebrows at me, I glared at him and turned back to Jack who was standing there awkwardly while Boris growled at him. "Okay.." Jack said awkwardly. "Boris, stop that!" Harry smirked a little so I shot home another glare. "Hey can I have your number?" Jack asked slowly. I grabbed Harry's hand and squeezed it as a warning for him to keep his mouth shut. "Yeah sure" we exchanged numbers. Harry spoke up, "Hey you can have her number but keep in mind that she's mine okay?" "Yeah yeah" he walked off.
"Harry! That was so rude! He's just a guy I helped one time when he ran into a pole!" I said to him sternly. Harry sighed, "I'm sorry Holly. I just get overprotective sometimes." He said with a guilty smile, I sighed and kept walking towards the park. We got to the park and Harry lifted up my chin to kiss me. I backed away "uh uh uh not so fast Harry!" I said amused at how I just rejected him. He looked at me with a sad face "I'm oldschool Harry, no kissing on the first date mate" he laughed at the use of mate in my sentence and we kept walking through the park.
