Does Jay...having feelings for me?

"Jay," I said lightly before I took a small step away from him.

"I know, I know we've always been just best friends Brooklyn, but now seeing you with him, it just...it made me realize how I truly feel about you," he said as he stepped towards me.

"I...I can't do this, Jay, Harry, he's my," I started to say before Jay interrupted me.

"Your what, huh? Boyfriend? Yeah, I know that. But honestly Brooklyn, it doesn't look real. You don't look happy, I know when you're lying to me," he said as he stroked his hand over my cheek,"But I know you're happy with me, BrookieBay," Jay said as he moved closer to me.

I dodged him and left the room, but I heard him chasing after me. By the time I had gotten to the living room, where everyone else was, he was hot on my heels.

"Brooklyn wait!" he said as he reached out for me and spun me around. He took this moment that I was off guard to smack his lips into mine, in front. of. everyone.

He was aggressive about it and I quickly pulled away and shoved him away. Everyone in the room was silent and as surprised as I was. How dare he kiss me? What the hell was he...

Oh god. Harry.

I looked over at him and saw the fire burning in his eyes. He wasn't mad at me, he knew what I thought, what I felt, and that I didn't feel the same about Jay, but he was furious with Jay. I could tell Harry wanted to rip his head off right then and there.

"What the hell?!" Harry said as he stormed towards Jay but I quickly stepped in front of him. Harry never left eye contact with Jay.

"It's okay, Harry, let's just leave," I said silently.

But I knew this was far from over when Harry moved me out of the way and stormed towards Jay.

There was no stopping him now. Harry was uncontrolable when he was mad, but I guess I'll have to try and change that before he kills my best friend.
