Niall's POV
Well night you two!" Jen said and started to head up the stairs after her boyfriend, Zayn.
"Good night, Jen!" Me and Kathy called out from the sofa. I looked down at Kathy who was fiddling with her hair. 'Shes so cute' my mind thought. I felt like a bag of jelly beans around her, I could imagine the guys saying aw lil nialler's inlooove! In some stupid soppy voice. But for once I didn't feel like going with my head, I felt like going with my heart. I looked down at Kathy again and caught her looking at me. This made me smile, the way every now and then I'd catch her staring at me with her big hazel eyes, she didn't do that to any of the others.
"soooo... KathycanIaskyouaquestion?" I rushed the last words and saw Kathy's head tilt in confusion, suddenly, after about a minute, realisation dawned on her face.
"yes, fire away." She replied.
"would you... I dunno..... Consider..... Going. Out to.... Dinner with me? It's ok if you say no, I'll completely understand. But you know I just thought... That maybe.... That you'd like to. Don't feel pressu-" she cut me off mid sentence.
"you mean like a date?" She asked
"yeah, you know if you'd prefer to go as just frie-" she cut me off again
"I'd love to go on a date with you, Ni!" She said.
"seriously?"
"yup! Well I've got to get home now, Niall. Could you drive me?" She asked.
"why don't you just stay here? You could stay in my room if your comfortable with that!" I suggested, blushing slightly.
"yeah that's fine with me, can I just phone my aunt?"
"Sure, I'll be upstairs if you need anything. My rooms second door on the right." I said, I gave her a kiss on the cheek before going to climb the stairs.

Kathy's POV
I watched Niall go upstairs, then pulled my phone out and rang Nicky. she answered on the third ring.
*phone call*
n: hello? Kathy, is everything ok?
k: yeah. Everything's fine. I'm over at a friends house. I'm going to spend the night
n: which friend?
k: Jen's. She's back in town! We had a lot of catching up to do that's why I'm phoning at gone midnight.
n: yeah, you can stay. How about we do a girly day tomorrow? Just us two? We can go shopping, grab a bite to eat at that Chinese place, maybe get our hair and nails done?
I smiled at the thought.
k: I'd love that. Should I meet you at the shopping centre at, say onish?
n: perfect. See you tomorrow Kath. I love you!
k: bye! Love you too!
*end of phone call*
i hung up my phone and went upstairs to Niall's room.
