Emma's POV

The next morning I left Valentine's early. Val, Lizzy May, and Kaileen were still fast asleep. I wrote a note and pasted it to the refrigerator. I packed up my stuff and quietly walked out, trying not to wake up the girls.

I got to my car and threw my stuff into the back and climbed in. I started the engine and backed out of Val's driveway, and began to drive home.

I shortly reached my small flat that wasn't far from Val's house. I grabbed my stuff from the boot of my car. I lunged my stuff up two flights of stairs before reaching my flat.

I unlocked the door and threw my stuff onto my small couch. I collapsed on the couch and grabbed the Telly remote. The news came on and I felt my phone buzz. I pulled it out.

New text message: Val

"Hey Em, where'd you go this morning? Did something happen? Are you okay?"

I contemplated texting Val back. I know she won't rest until I reply so I decide to do the smart thing and text her back.

"Yeah I'm fine. Just had something to take care of." I reply.

"Okay, oh are you busy tonight?" She texted.

"No, why?" I reply.

"Harry called, he wants to have a movie night at his house. Liam wants us to get to know Tia better."

"That sounds good. What time?"

"Um, 7:30."

"Kay I'll be there." I reply.

"Kay, where something cute."

"I always do." I reply.
